I have finally gotten into a women's 7 (for the width) but they are a bit long. One nice thing is if someone steps on my "toe", they get shoe only, not my actual toes! Another vote for Mason's shoes (in Wisconsin).

Fear of gas shortage is causing a run on gas in my area (Orlando, FL). Lines of cars, bagged handles for empty pumps, and tempers....Can't believe the panic. I paid $2.72 for regular yesterday ($2.92 for high test) and now the few places that still have gas are raising the prices on gas already in their tanks.

You are in my prayers too. Truly hope you feel better soon.

So thankful you are ok Curtis!

Nver thought of Oreos for hurricane survival food, but whatever works for you! Best thoughts and prayers heading your way. Towels to follow.

Though I went through several hurricanes last year and I've been through others in South Carolina, the idea of a cat 5 is just mind numbing! Curtis, my best thoughts an wishes for you and your family. Please take care and check in as soon as you can.

Don't understand what you mean. This item appears under the authenticated users list in awstats. I don't have anything like that in my assignments for web protect so there is nothing to remove. But since it appears in the stats as a user that signed in, do I need to be concerned? It never appeared before this month.

I like the noarchive metatag idea. Wonder if I could build it into my robots.txt file so I don't have to put it on all pages. I agree. -Samantha

I just ran across the BETA version of the Yahoo My Web. "Move beyond bookmarks - create your own personal, searchable web" It touts several things including one statement that really just TEES ME OFF! Anyone know the name of the BOT this thing will use so I can add it to my nasty list in the robots.txt file? I don't like the idea that YAHOO will be CACHING my webpages ("exact" copies) for people. Yes I know that Google and Yahoo have caching set up for the search results but somehow this seems so...... WRONG. I did not give anyone permission to capture my webpages in total. It's one thing to link to my pages (so you always get the latest content). It's quite another to purposely capture and store them in bulk! Anyone else think this way or am I totally out of line? -Samantha

This month I have a new entry appearing under the authenticated users and I'm not sure what it means. All the other users appear as the names I assigned under WEBPROTECT feature, but now there's one that is called "" (just hte two quotes). Is this caused by me logging in, or how does that appear? Anything I need to be concerned about? (I love that list....it gives me such a chuckle to see one of my sales reps log into his sales stat page more thatn 3 times the rate of my other sales reps! Keeps hoping something else will appear....kinda like staring into the refrig). Thanks for any info here.

GENERALLY SPEAKING Programs that produce a FLASH swf file will produce the HTML to go with it. You may need to look for it a bit, but the program does provide it. Sometimes you need to FILE EXPORT an HTML page or save as an HTML page to preview your flash piece. If so, while previewing, you will be able to choose VIEW SOURCE from the toolbar in Internet Explorer. Look for the part of the code that starts with <OBJECT and ends with </EMBED> </OBJECT> and copy it. That is the code you will place into an INSERT HTML. By the way... you talk about "Site Builder". Just want to clarify if you are using CuteSITE Builder (CSB) a pc-installed piece of software or an online website builder often known as "Site Builder"? If using the online "Site Builder", then I can't help very much. That is a totally different program than CSB. If using CSB, please take a look at KW's flash menu tutorial here: http://www.csbsupport.com/demo22/ it is for a different flash menu than the one you are trying to implement, but the instruction is basically the same. You can either modify the code with ^GEMDIR/ and load your flash file into the insert HTML as KW instructs. OR: insert your code, but do not modify it. Then upload the flash file to your website with FTP or using the built-in File Manager in your website control panel. I recommend the latter. Make sure the flash file is in the same directory folder as your webpages that call it. I prefer not using CSB to load my file (only inserting the code) so that if many pages use the same menu, it is only loaded ONCE to your website. Each page should have the code inserted, but each time, it will call the same flash file meaning that the second time it loads will be faster.

I am disappointed with their MOON map! They do not include a pointer for where the GOOGLE research center will be (opening late spring 2007) as described here: http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.html The facility should be quite impressive (click next button at the bottom of each page to view details). -Samantha

Like Don and others, I am glad TCH has the policy! We enjoy terrific uptime and quality servicing. That would be compromised by parking many domains into several subdirectories of a site. In my humble opinion, having that policy in place is not a scratch on the pearl, but truly a buffing to make the pearl more lustrious! Best option is a RESELLER account and then you can assign all your domain names as you choose, and even allocate bandwidth as necessary. TCH still ROCKS!

Relieved to hear both families are fine and homes made it through. Let's hope Florida is spared any more major storms (said even as I look at a report about another tropical storm Emily projected to target south Florida) this season.
-
LOL I have not laughed that hard in a long time! Your depiction of the weather coverage is DEAD ON! ROFL Central Florida is not in the CONE this time. Yet our wizards are THRILLED to get on the air showing off all the new diagnostic equipment. They can do fancy tricks, show pretty colors, see white dots for every lightening strike and SWOOP in from this angle to that angle making everyone seasick while watching the weather... Sponsor tonight is Dramamine! And when all is said and done, the forecast still says breezy, 80% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms... And I am SOOO tired of the lone wacko in a yellow slicker with arms out leaning into the wind. Same thing. Could show the same person every time and we would never know. Maybe they do. And since we are NOT in the path, our local tv crews are being sent to areas expected to be hit so we can hear first hand what we missed. Is that really necessary? Those areas will have enough problem trying to house the people that live there without added burden of news crews from every little podunk town taking up residence too. Isn't that why we have NATIONAL news shows? Good thoughts folks....Prayers and wishes as the storm passes through.

Looks like Dennis, now a cat 4 hurricane, is headed for Pensacola on the Florida panhandle. I am so afraid for folks up there. Even here in Central Floridia, many have not recovered from last year, still have tarped roofs. I'm sure it is the same in the the Pensacola area ea of Florida too. My prayers and good wishes for anyone in the path of this very strong, very organized storm!

Well, after the cleaning, mine got so much better, but this morning it started again. Tonight I will stick it under a magnifying glass and look for more fuzz. I have a second one that maybe I will just swap to... I've cleaned mice with balls many times but it never dawned on me to work on the optical mouse. The one I have at the office has worked perfectly for years in a very dusty environment.
-
Lately my optical mouse has been jumpy. Leaping clear across the page randomly. Immediate thought was scan for virus or other infection. NOPE... My mouse was sprouting HAIR from the optical sensor! Had to get some tweezers to "pluck" my mouse! Now hairless again, it works fine! Moral of the story: hairless mice should be kept away from furry cats for best performance!

LOL.... Exactly the same intermittant problem I was having for a long time until the program finally just decided that I couldn't receive from those accounts anymore.

TCH-RICK you are the MAN! Thank you for not giving up on this! (He's been working with me on a help ticket behind the scenes!) I WORKED OUT THE ANSWER TO THIS WACKY PROBLEM! I read in a support group that Outlook tries to connect to all email servers at one time and that can cause conflicts. They did not have an answer to the problem, just knew what the problem was. WELL...if you accept that, then the idea is to slow down those connections, make it one or two at a time so they do not conflict with each other! If you choose CTRL ALT S it opens a SEND AND RECEIVE dialog box. You can define groups of emails to be checked. I split my 4 samisite addresses off into separate send and receive groups, split my ISP and put Hotmail into its own. Now I can choose to send and receive only one group at at time. And now they ALL send and receive! 2nd bonus: A while back I put in a help ticket because intermittent non-connection to my emails. Thought it was a server issue. No problem was found. But I now believe that Outlook caused its own problem by trying to connect too many times to the same server at the same time! Because you did not just push me away with "it's not my problem attitude", along with the growing frustration, I had hope! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. -Samantha

But thunderbird doesn't have all the calendar, reminder, task lists, etc that outlook has. Did you also have version 2002?
-
I really hate to pay for another copy of outlook unless I know for sure it will resolve the problem. Otherwise I will be out some money and still not be able to send/receive emails from my own website! Until this last week I was able to send/receive fine from my website addresses. Nothing changed on computer except that suddenly I can only send and not receive from any email address associated with my website. Could I be on some spam list or something? (If that were the case I probably wouldn't be able to use Outlook Express either! )
-
I have - reset passwords in cpanel and in Outlook - deleted and recreated the samisite email accounts in Outlook - forwarded all emails from the squirrelmail screen to my ISP email address then deleted them from that account - made new test emails. Sent email using the webmaster address to 1) the webmaster address: it can be seen at squirrelmail but will not pull into outlook. 2) excite.com (to another account I have) it showed up just fine, but reply email to webmaster address gets stuck on server, never coming in. The address SENDS but does NOT RECEIVE. Tried it in OUTLOOK EXPRESS and yes, it will send and receive with that address through my TCH web host account. But I do NOT want to use two email programs, one for ISP emails and one for WEBSITE emails! I like using my calendar, and task list inside Outlook. NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO?????? Any suggestions for an email program that won't just stop working out of the blue, for no good reason, and still offer the other options that I like to use??? Or do I just need to upgrade my Outlook 2002 to a newer version? -Samantha
