The time has finally come for the announcement every one has been waiting for. So without further delay, let’s go on with the show. Meet the Gurus. Effective tonight each TCH staff member and mod will have thier avatar replaced with a photo of themselves. We gave this much thought and discussed this in detail for several weeks. When it was all said and done, we decided that it was something we wanted to do. So now you can put a face with our names. Corporate Acquisition. TCH has acquired the assets of another hosting firm. At this point we can not release the name of the company. The complete details will be forthcoming over the next couple weeks. The purchase was simply to position TCH to better deal with the ever changing market. We DID NOT acquire the clients so there will NOT be a huge influx of customers, so no need to worry about loosing the level of support your so used to. Reseller Accounts price points. It was originally thought that we would increase the price of the reseller plans. After much thought we have choose NOT to increase the price of our reseller plans. Instead we have decided to add a couple of additional plans to our lineup of reseller plans. There were some gaps in the coverage from our largest reseller to our semi-dedicated plan. So to recap over the next week or so we will NOT BE RAISING THE PRICING ON RESELLER PLANS, BUT WILL BE ADDING NEW PLANS TO THE LINEUP! Dedicated Server Blow out! Any current TCH customer wanting to move to their own server can do so at an additional 10% reduction in cost. We will also include the semi-managed plan at no extra charge. This sale is only thru the end of March or until stock runs out. Equipment Upgrades. The month of March is going to be very exciting. We are planning upgrades on many servers. If your on a single cpu box, get ready for a upgrade. We will be moving all clients off of single cpu servers onto Quad Xeon servers. Please watch the server announcements for complete details. Moving Cages. We will be moving down the hall so to speak towards the end of March. We have made arrangements in two of our partner datacenters to go 100% TCH equipment. This will mean we will no longer be dependent on other's hardware to run our operations. This is something that will be happening in the end of March and I will post complete details. From the routers to the switches to the cable it will all be our equipment. This is really good news, but will require some hard work to get there. Stay Tuned. Virtual Account Sale. Three days this month we will be running a sale for new hosting accounts. We will not announce the dates in advance and the promo is for new hosting accounts only. For three days this month all new accounts will be given a 50% increase in bandwidth at no extra charge. 2004 is turning out to be a amazing year for TCH. Welcome to TCH. From the top.. 1) Use of PHP mail() scripts. Are there any restrictions? My scrips are either in a password protected (.htaccess) section or have the domain name hard coded into the "to:" section. The other host is currently yanking many (some very secure) on the fly, with some pissed customers. We do not restrict the use of any script on our servers (except one blog called greymatter). PHP Mail scripts are no longer offered in cPanel as a autosetup script, however you can do what you like with your account as long as it is legal. 2) any restrictions on using php classes to work with files? I am using Htaccess.class.php3 to edit a user.file (like .htpasswd) via a webpage. SAFE_MODE is off. So you should be ok. 3) Any file restrictions? .exe files? (for download) We dont monitor or restrict file usage. However, all files must be legal and in accordance with our Terms Of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. 4) dedicated IP's? With justification. Must follow ARIN rules. 5) can we limit ftp access with different ftp usernames? Yep you sure can. Unlimited users in fact! 6) What is your biggest fault? (got to be one out there) Let the userbase answer that one. Good luck in your search for a new host.

DVD Shrink does everything that dvdx copy does and its free.

Fair Use! Is what we are talking about. If I spend $29 for the Monsters Inc. DVD for my kids why is it illegal for me to burn a backup copy for self use. Why? The DMCA simply states it is illegal to reverse engineer copy protections. I say ^%$%$ the DMCA. If I own the orginal I should have every right to make a copy of it. Ever see a 6 year old with a DVD? I have its not pretty. I have several DVD Burners. I think the LITEON'S are great bang for the buck!

Welcome to TCH Your correct, the plans differ only in bandwidth and space. The reseller plans allow multiple domain hosting. All incoming and outgoing traffic are counted against your bandwidth totals. We do not support Ruby at this time. I have never turned down a refund request yet. If you move on we will prorate you a refund. Good luck in your search for a new host.

You had all your files uploaded to the wrong folder. I moved them into the public_html folder, but i am not sure what file is your index or home page. You had one file called index so I have renamed that to index.html Whatever page you want as your home page simply rename it to index.html Let us know if we can be more help.

Me birthday is in March, but thats not it!

and my second car was a 1956 Chevy Bel-Air. What a piece of junk. It was so badly rusted, that the cross mounts for the trany rusted out and the trans fell thru to the ground. We had to weld 6' extensions all the way to the rear of the car. It was classic. Oh, and you couldnt park on a incline. The 3 speed trans was shot and the car would roll. We would have to put chocks behind the wheels. Dont even talk about the rear seats. There were holes so big your feet could fit thru, at high speeds it was easy to get the rear passengers wet with a simple puddle drive by. The key broke in the trunk, so the I had to hot wire the car. The only way to start the car was with a flat bladed screw driver. But hey, it had a kicken radio and that was really all we cared about. We cruised Gratiot Ave, from 7 mile all the way up to 18 mile. It was a blast, at times traffic would come to a complete standstill. Or it would just stop to let two fast car drag it out. The police were really hard on the cruisers on Gratiot so we .... Then would cruise woodward ave, from 5 mile all the way up to 14 mile road. Starting at just before dark and we cruised until the police chased us off. The 5/0 on Woodward were pretty easy on us. They really let us cruise. Times were really different then. Girls would "Car Hop" from one cruiser to another. There were no drugs and no one ever got hurt or anything. Wow, that was a fun time in my life. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago.
