As you can clearly see, located in Flint, MI we are in the WHITE zone.

Well the good thing is that I can leave my bottles of dew outside next to the door and we do not need to keep a icebox in the dc :shocking:

On the other hand, if the drainage system breaks down the whole state turns into a marsh.

Looks like southwest Texas would be a good place, too -- and NO SNOW or sub-zero temps. Though it does get slightly warmer there.

Air conditioning costs (important for a dc) are much cheaper in Michigan than Texas.

 

Plus with the economy in Flint, real estate costs are minimized.
