borfast Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I was just wondering how many of us know other TCH family members in person. I sure would like to meet some of you guys but it's not very likely, since I live in Portugal and the majority of you are in the US, some in Sweden, etc. But anyway, tell us if you know a fellow TCH family member in person I'm especially curious about the mods and staff, since we all get along so well Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I havent met anyone in person. But there are some that I have spoken to via irc and AIM. I am hoping to meet some of the members in person though. And dont worry Raul, I´ll come visit you some day, Portugal isnt too far away. Quote
bellringr Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I haven't met Bruce and Bunni yet but we're planning on it at some point, hopefully this fall. Bunni and I Skype sometimes too. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Well Bunni and I are married, does that count as meething them in person? Quote
borfast Posted July 30, 2004 Author Posted July 30, 2004 LOL @ Bruce Well, I suppose we can count that, Bruce Thomas, if you do come to Portugal, do let me know Quote
Bunni Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Well Bunni and I are married, does that count as meething them in person? Never met the man! Quote

DarqFlare Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 My friend Russell Grissette (TyGeRtOt) referred me here, but that's it... We should all group together and head out to someplace like Six Flags... Quote
greatfolios sysop Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 just came home from Cedar Point!!! Rode the Raptor and the Magnum 200. Too chicken to take on the others.... Mr. Bill :Nerd: Quote
btrfld Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 There are 3 people I know of, friends of mine, who are TCHers. There may be others; who knows? With such a growing family, the guy next door could be. Quote
ThumpAZ Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I have met Jackie, but that is because she is a friend of my wife and me ("met" her long before she even moved to AZ). I have met Virtual Imager, and even had her over to our house. I have talked to TCH-Rob on the phone, and have his number stored. I have even kicked around the idea of an AZ-TCH folks meet n greet somwhere. Now that I have GPS on my work truck, though, that makes it difficult. But I am still all for it! Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 (edited) I have met Virtual Imager, and even had her over to our house.Thats nice. I have talked to TCH-Rob on the phone, and have his number stored. Poor you... No, two insane people should go along fine. Sorry Rob and Glenn. Thomas you´re a bad boy. thephiller Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 just came home from Cedar Point!!! Rode the Raptor and the Magnum 200. Too chicken to take on the others.... Mr. Bill :Nerd: I'm very jealous. I went to Cedar Point once 2-3 years ago and would love to go back. The millenium force isn't as scary as you would think as it rides very very smooth. To quote the 10 year old girl I shared a car with, "There's nothing to be afraid of." Sort of off topic...anyway, I haven't met any member of the TCH family as I have just recently started to utilize the forums. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Sorry everyone for continuing the off topic but...what is "The millenium force"? Quote
greatfolios sysop Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Sorry it should be magnum XL 200 http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/magnum.cfm Fun!!! Mr. Bill :Nerd: Quote
thephiller Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Sorry everyone for continuing the off topic but...what is "The millenium force"? The Millenium was the fastest tallest roller coaster when it came out in 2000. It starts out with an insane 300 ft drop at an 80% angle and reaches speeds of over 90 mph. One intense roller coaster!
