  1. Thank Jim. Many I do have (I've got a pretty long list) but there are a few here I don't recognize and will sure check out. If I can just figure out a way to recognize the incognito leeches after a certain amount of downloads and boot them out I'd be all set! Actually, there shouldn't be any "downloads" at all - should there? (search engine cache?) Thanks -Ty
  2. In IE 6.0 I have the issue '/' = graphics, without '/' none. It did serve graphics both ways in NS 7. Why, I'm not sure. Anything to do with your img calls all begining with the forward slash? BTW - Tommy Emmanuel is amaaaaaaaazing!
  3. I sure would appreciate seeing some sample code. I'm still sitting here scratching my head over it. Thanks! -Ty
  4. I sure couldn't snag the pic using any right-click or print-screen, nice piece of work folks, but it was all too easy to snag it from source code. How about a further detraction and convert the essential part of that line to all ASCII?: I'd paste it in here except it's about 3 miles long -Ty
  5. This is a wonderful, wonderful product! I've been using it for a while now. It also picks up things that Ad-Aware does not. Set-up is a little weird but just using the default is ok too. This is good stuff
  6. I noticed that about the "disguises" as well. I still went ahead and put a list in my .htaccess file but you're right, there's got to be a more efficient way. (snippet) RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^tAkeOut [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^Teleport [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^Vacuum [NC] RewriteRule .* - [F] stuckintheshell ty
  7. Thanks AndyB. This looks very promising albeit a little scary for such a tiny turtle... -Ty
  8. I tried adding it to robots.txt User-agent: teleport Disallow: / and then I downloaded the free version of teleport. Got right into my site. I tried it with full name and version number as seen in my raw logs and that didn't work either User-agent: Teleport Pro/1.29.1590 Disallow: / (freebie has different version# so I changed it).....SO....... I'm still looking for suggestions if anybody has any, please? Thanks, Ty
  9. Thanks for your suggestions. Seems to be ok now. I notice also that my usage stats in Cpanel have settled into where they should be. Very scary boys and girls
  10. Yes, I mailed something to me at info@lyricsplayground.com and it arrived safe and sound when checking for it via webmail. When I checked this morning, again directly via Neo-Mail, it was not there. ty
  11. I sent a test mail last night to my account and this morning it's not in either Neo-Mail or Horde. (it was there) -Ty
  12. Does this also hold true for Neo-Mail? And what about folders set up aside from the default ones?
  13. If I send mail to your 'real' mailbox - mail1@****** then mail1 will keep my mail in the inbox, as it has arrived at it's intended destination, and then mail1 will automatically forward to mail2 and mail3. As long as you don't try to forward again from mail2 and mail3 you will not get a loop. Ty
  14. Thank you Jim for taking the extra time to look into this. I will certainly give it a try, I don't suppose it could hurt. - Ty
  15. Hi. It doesn't create a loop. Set up the primary account mail1@****** and set the forwarder utility to mail2@******,mail3@******. Don't forget the comma.
  16. Okie dokie. Funky? I can do funky. Thanks, sure do appreciate it. - Ty
  17. Figured out the email forwarding. Seperate the addresses with a comma. Duh me (dense shell) Bonehead
  18. I have moved my 2nd site here from another host. While waiting for propagation of nameservers I obviously had to change the full URL path in several scripts in order to test them. (former host running Zeus - many changes) Will the temporary http://207.44.240.63/~naugatu/ URL still function after propagation? Also, is there a way to forward mail to 2 different addresses? Thanks, Ty
  19. I have to agree with Turtle 100%. Not because we're brethren but because we terrapins are sensible (except for that wandering around in the road thing). Cpanels are there to work with not sit back and behold. I also understand that while not as stable as BlueLagoon it is rather costly and I would hate to see something like that impact the wonderfully affordable rates here in the future. ty
  20. Allo Again, I did email for PayPal instructions 4/21 at 8am but I haven't heard anything yet. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks Ty
  21. AH HA! Sounds like a plan!
  22. Happy Easter Bill. Real glad you all spent some time with family. Is so important. I would like a second account, the Silver Plan this time and pay for the year from my paypal to yours. I would like to move an existing site here. (no, I didn't get thrown out of the other place - I just like TCH better) Please let me know if there are any special instructions for the new subscription process using this method. Thanks very much, Ty
  23. I have a similar question : Can I open another account making a direct payment to TCH directlyfrom PayPal? It would be nice to expidite the process this way as it takes my bank 5+ business days to recognize the payment. Come to think of it, I may have just answered my own question Why would TCH want to wait 5+ days either? Oh well, still curious. Thanks, Ty
  24. Did you empty the trash yet? Unless you've created another one I would put the .htaccess file back if you can and just edit the file of the redirect line you don't want. I'm not sure it will auto-generate a new htaccess file for you.
  25. Thank you gentlemen. That's kind of what I figured, I just wanted some more input. As both elements end up in the .htaccess file I think I'll think I'll use the "AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html" method. That way I won't have to change any extensions or worry about "strays". 15,000+ pages be a real pain to have to debug Thanks again
