The only description I have is : Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM Ultra ATA-100 8MB Cache

I'll try again. It says C: Partition1 [New (Raw)] 76309 MB (76309 MB free) on 76317 MB Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi [MBR]. and to me that doesn't look right - a lot of zeros - but I'll let it do its thing and see what happens.

Reboot did nothing to change things for the better. PC was not plugged in to any network at the time of install. I think I should start over (half expecting this to happen again)
-
I didn't think it would do that either. I merely followed the prompts off the install disk letting it do the partitions, etc., just like I've done before. I had this put together (custom) for me by a reputable company

I just installed windows XP Pro into a brand new machine (finally, after months of being without my own desktop) and I ended up with the following drives: 3 1/2 Floppy(A:) Removeable USB Device (C:) Removeable USB Device (D:) Removeable USB Device (E:) Removeable USB Device (F:) DVD-RW Drive (G:) Local Disk (H:) C,D, E, and F I do not have at all and disabled via Device manager. Part 1 - Should I have done that?? That now leaves me with: 3 1/2 Floppy(A:) DVD-RW Drive (G:) Local Disk (H:) Certainly unfamiliar (even wrong) labels. Part 2 - What should I do? Leave it with those labels? So - long story short - I am freaking out. .... I don't dare start doing anything (installing) else till I get past this. As always - thanks much. BTW - I put this here because the Hardware is new, not the disk. I have used this install disk before and it never gave me these results.

Has possiblities....... thanks. I can't really find anything. Right now I have renamed the file and put up a page with a manual redirect in it's place. I am pretty sure people are getting to this page expecting something else. Do a Yahoo search for ' mr skin ' and you'll see what I mean. Mine is the song by Spirit, #2 listing. The #1 listing must have recently added some new um, "material". Yuck!

I just tried it and there are no ads in the mail. I don't trust it

I figured I would pose the question while I search I've one html file that's receiving an incredible amount of traffic - referred directly from Yahoo search results. Is there a way to ban this for my one file? Seems to me there is a way but I would be merely guessing if I tried to do it from my limited knowledge. Thanks -,^^,0

While not fond of the P Daddy approach it is the only way to get the message across - from him - to his target audience, his listeners. Any other less "extreme" attempt from him simply wouldn't work and his target wouldn't pay it any mind. What I do like about it is that the message does not endorse anyone or anything except the right to vote.

Looks like a bug, take a look at : h**p://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=23997

Yes Rob. It is time to put away the spring / summer timepieces; mantleclocks, wristwatches, eggtimers and replace them with the fall/winter line

Why Is It Popular To Put Stars In Http (h**p://..)
boxturt replied to jandafields's topic in Open Discussion
I've wondered about this myself although I do understand that putting the full http:// beforehand makes it a working, spiderable link (and blah blah blah) and using the ** disables that. But doesn't just posting domain.com accomplish the same thing? -
Good job Alan

Ohhhhhhhhh, you mean we're supposed to use those???

okey dokey, makes sense except I know I didn't click on them (in one account) and I'm the only one that has access. What the 'client' did I have no knowledge. I just find it strange that the same thing happened on 2 unrelated accounts, at the same time on the same server. ....enter Twilight Zone music....... In any case, deleted they be and that's all that mattered. Thanks

I have just noticed that two of my sites, both on server 23, are displaying some new folders which I did not put there. All dated 10/21/2004 they are : /catalogs/ /public_html/cart/ /public_html/entropybanner/ Did that happen during an upgrade? That question is just for curiosity's sake so more importantly - is it safe to delete these folders? Or will that action impact other files? As always, Thanks
