Lets say we have a tight race. Say a republican has 47 percent of the vote and a democrat has 43 percent and an independant has the rest. The republican is up for re-election and you cant stand him. You dont like the democrat that much either though you think anything is better than where we are. You say you are going to vote for a third. You may as well vote to keep the republican you hate in office because he has a lead over the other two. If the 11 percent of you that voted third party voted for the lesser of the two evils there would be a new person in office. Instead you make a point that a few people can actually write a name instead of checking a box and you have four more years with a president you didnt want to see there. More voices and more choices is fine but in this case do you think it is worth it? I vote Dick as well.
