I am sure it is, like the Nigerian "I have $40 Million" scam. But it got me thinking, it would be a good idea to just not give those countries where a large percentage of credit card fraud comes from access to the site. I am looking for the best possible option for that.

I am deleting my home page that was index.php and just using my main catalog page. I am using .htaccess to change it so visiting my url puts you at the catalog page. My .htaccess line is DirectoryIndex /catalog/default.php. Will this penalize me with the spiders?

Hey gang, I just got this email today; The thing that caught me was the country to ship to, Nigeria. I am almost positive that Nigerians dont need collectable knives and swords, what with the unrest they are having I am sure they are just trying to survive. Not trying to discriminate or anything but I am also trying to cover my backside. I want to block a few countries from getting to my site, those with high credit card fraud. Should I do this using .htaccess or would that be hard on the server? Is there another alternative? Edit: This is a security issue to me so forgive me if it is in the wrong place. Feel free to move it.

I must be looking in the wrong place. I dont see those unless its because I already have oscommerce installed before the upgrade.

Well, I saw 120 degrees (49 celcius)on the sign on the way home. That and it's about to rain so we have a bit of humidity. We have golf here, local radio is sponsoring the Yeti Classic. For those north of the planets belt buckle, is it feeling hotter than usual? Here in Phoenix Arizona we broke 2 records in the same day. We had a record low of 93 degrees and a record high of 116 for the day, thats about 33.9 for the low and 46.7 high for you metric folks. Now it's not as bad as when we hit 122 (50c) but still. Can I borrow a truck of ice?

Well, if it says anything, I worked for one of those hosts. We sold other things as well. I got a free account with them but was told by a customer of ours to look into TCH. I told my employer no thanks to the free account that was given to me and bought an account here. Where else can you talk to the big can o dew and have him personally welcome you aboard?
