Yes, as I understand it $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] is already calling squort.com. By having it in the second example it is calling squort.com/http://www.squort.com/inc/menu-ho.php. Then again I could be wrong, my PHP is a bit rusty.

The old site should dwindle to zero visits by humans and all bots visiting via name. Visitors by IP will still hit the old site. People only know your domain name, your domain name only knows where it is supposed to point. You shouldn't have to do anything to keep Google comming, it finds you by site name, links to your site. I know if I move and keep my same phone number I still have the same number of creditors calling. Changing hosts shouldnt affect anything.

I edited out what I had said in the first place in my previous post. Thomas, you can link to your site in this post. As long as your link isnt for personal gain or a violation of the forum guidelines you are generally ok. Make sure the link is to a place you think TCH itself would want to link to. A link to adaware is fine but an adult toy shop or another hosting company isnt. We as mods will always change it if it needs to be changed and explain why so dont get too worried about it.
