For what it's worth, I'm also using this one I made up because somehow I got started on using 128 x 22 banners for credits:

And a fine two seconds it was. Here's the one I'm going with until TCH provides us with their own: Which is GroovyFish's with an outline added.

Despite my sister’s Siamese cat knowing me for 19 years...he was still very...well, shall we say...classically Siamese. Here he is nearly deaf and blind, very arthritic and not wanting to be touched: http://www.danzfamily.com/videos/blogvideos/chinlee.wmv

No problem, I got nothing better to do than come here and nit-pick since my site is working perfectly and faster than ever.
-
According to cpanel I am on Server 85: "Welcome to Server85." There is a Server 85 thread ready to go in the server status forum but on the TCH Status website there is no Server 85 in the menu.

My cat adopted me/us too. Came to the house limping with an infected leg from a fight (better lover than fighter). Took him to the vet, got him "fixed", a week in the garage with twice daily antibiotics and he was ours. Then moved him to the city and made him an inside cat who sleeps 23 1/2 hours a day. But, now he's finally earning his keep...got a one year old chasing him around.

I like yours better. Now if the TCH artists could just gif up the yellow sphere with a little movement it would be perfect.

On the TCH banner-links page: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/web-hosting-links.html The strongly preferred text link is this: Web Hosting withTotal Choice There is no space between "with" and "Total" but there is a space between "Total" and "Choice." Is that correct?
-
I was thinking more along the lines of something like this: ...just thrown together in PaintShop.

While I'm on my rant. Look at the banner page: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/web-hosting-links.html The suggested text link is this: Web Hosting withTotal Choice There is no space between "with" and "Total" but there is a space between "Total" and "Choice." What's up with that?

OK, how about this: People like those little 80x15 button/badge thingies. TCH does not offer an official one. TCH family members make up their own...because we are so proud of TCH. What people make up looks like crap...(see above). When non-TCH family members see the crappy button, they naturally think TCH is a second rate host with no attention to detail (which is absolutely wrong). Sooooo...get with the program TCH and make an 80x15 banner for gosh sakes!!!
-
Just thought the wonderful people of TCH should know that since you do not provide an 80 x 15 banner that some people have made their own inferior banners not worthy or representative of the fine product that is TCH: But, hey, if you don't care...that's fine...go ahead don't make a high quality 80 x 15 button that we can use. /tongue in cheek

FIXED IT! Originally, when I was messing around with index options using cpanel, even though I put everything back the way it was, cpanel put a .htaccess file in the subdirectories I had been experimenting with which was still there and overriding my edit of the primary .htaccess file. I deleted those subdirectory .htaccess files and all is well now. Error 404 pages are coming up like I want. Thanks all.
-
From studying .htaccess a little, I belive the IndexIgnore and the specific items and wildcards listed after it are cumulative...and that "Options -Indexes" also does the same thing. So it should work, but it is not. HELP!
-
OK, I found my .htaccess file using the cpanel file manager and edited it there to add the line, "Options -Indexes" as shown below. I left everything else alone. (Note to newbies like myself, the .htaccess file was not visable using my FTP program.) But...I still get a fancy index listing when I access directories which have no index file such as, http://www.danzfamily.com/pictures/ What have I done wrong?

Email Login Links And Using More Than One Program
DWD replied to DWD's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Thanks. That works just fine. So, what is the difference between secure and not secure. Do people really need to use the secure login? -
Is the only login to the web-based email programs: www.domain.com/webmail ? Is the above address "secure" for SquirrelMail? If not, what is the "secure" address? Is there a TCH hosted domain web address login for SquirrelMail only, that is not a login for all three webmail programs? What happens when one configures and/or uses Horde the switches to Squirrel and then tries Neo and goes back to a different one, etc. Does this cause problems with some mail only being in some programs or is it all everywhere and thus there is no problem switching back and forth?
