These messages are almost certainly caused by viruses on other peoples computers sending emails, some of them pretending to be from your domain. In terms of the server - no, it doesn't run on microsoft windows, and hence is totally unaffected. Andy

Are you using frontpage? If not, then an empty file should be fine, you will then need to add the redirects for your error pages

Sobig only affects microsoft - hence the servers are themselves totally immune and unaffected

Hi, I just tried adding a contact on my server, with no problems. Did you have problems with every entry, or just one particular entry? If it is all, then I would suggest you submit a ticket and we will take a look for you. Andy

My personal view is that it's better to get links to your site and encourage "google" and others to find it. I would prefer to personally submit to any search engines rather than use an automated system, which the search engines don't always like, and are not tailored to each search engine.

Hi, If your ISP blocks the port, then unless you can persuade them to change, you will not be able to get POP3. There is no way round that. You can possibly set up forwards on all the email acounts to one - which you can then check using a webmail package. If you want to keep the accounts seperate, you can set up multiple email accounts on your Total Choice account, and then access them all at the same time through webmail if you use your cpanel username / password. Hi Flashram, If the site was created with dreamweaver and templates before, it is usally relatively easy to recreate the template from the existing pages. Take an existing page, open in dremweaver and save it as a template, with the same name as defined in the html for the template file. Your assumption is correct about editable regions. These are the only areas you can change within Dreamweaver, although you can edit them in NotePad or similar of course. I am on dialup, and the current menu works fine, so if that is the only graphics you are worrying about, then I would probably stick to using tables / CSS as it will be better indexed by the search engines than frames. It can be thanks.htm or thanks.php, in fact it can be any file as long as it exists. If like me, most of your pages are in php, then it will probably be a .php extension. Andy

What have you got in your .htaccess file at the moment, you certainly have some effects on the directory. Try removing them, then try again. Andy

Hi Nat, I'll try and answer a few of these for you Forwards. Yes, as you suggest, if you set up forward from fred@Adomain.com to john@Bdomain.com (or even somewhere else at Adomain.com) then a copy of the email still goes to the account at fred@Adomain.com. If you don't want any email on fred@Adomain.com then just delete the account. The forward will still work. Deleting messages. You can either delete your messages via webmail, or you can set your mail client to delete the messages from the server once they are downloaded. Why is it not deleting? Have you got your client set up to delete from the server? If so then it should be deleting. If it is set, but not deleting, then we need to dig a bit deeper. Andy
