Thomas, you won't be removing IE off of your computer and if you happen to hit a site that doesn't work in Firefox you still have the choice to launch IE to view it.

To send email try changing the port to 26 for SMTP. And you might want to check out this help page.

Was your extension a typo? It should have an extension of .shtml Note the "l" at the end.

We use GoToMyPC and the office next door uses pcAnywhere. Of course our situation is more unique than using pcAnywhere. We use it to give online demos and that's where GoToMyPC shines. You send an email invite to someone and they don't have to load any software except the Java applet onto their computer. I think pcAnywhere would work for you. You just need to open two ports on the router for each connection you wish to serve.

You can only point a domain to a subdomain of you have a reseller account. Otherwise you can have as many domains as you want pointing to your main index. This is referred to as "parking a domain".

You should only have to replace the DNS servers.

They are basically one in the same. Subdomains can be accessed h*tp://subdomain.yourdomain.ext Folder are accessed h*tp://yourdomain.ext/foldername
