  1. If you are in the minority then so am I. I don't have the time to wade through all the junk for a single legit email. I don't have my Spam Assassin turned down that low, I have mine set at 6.
  2. You don't have that much control in cPanel and shell access is not available on a shared hosting account.
  3. I believe if it's a .doc extension it will try to open in Word if the user is uning IE when they click the link. You could use a force download script written in PHP that would be better.
  4. I just read the launch has been pushed back a week.
  5. I do not believe there is a way to allow one without the other. What you could do is create a web protected folder to place the files they can download.
  6. Weezy, when you create packages you can choose which cPanel theme to use. Check which theme you are using between the two.
  7. Paul, those are two different cPanel skins. You can request a change by opening a ticket with the help desk.
  8. You will need to go to the phpBB site and download the updates necessary to upgrade your forum. Follow the instructions there for upgrading and if you get stuck ask questions and we'll do our best to get you going.
  9. Welcome to the forums mystic I don't have any suggestions at this time but I'm sure someone will come up with something to get you started.
  10. If Coppermine is missing in your cPanel please open a help desk ticket to support and they will get it added back on. Edit: Of course as Thomas says you can always download and install it yourself which would probably be better since it would more than likely be an older version installed from cPanel. cPanel pushes updates out frequently to the servers. Some may not be updated yet and that's why you are seeing different versions.

  12. Welcome to the forums Sam. Just upload the archive to your web space where you want it and use the File Manager in cPanel to unpack it.
  13. If you use Thunderbird to pop the box you can elect to leave messages on the server for a certain number of days. Maybe that will do it for you.
  14. Welcome to the forums Claudia
  15. Everything you do with your account goes against your bandwidth.
  16. Welcome to the forums, Duracizer!
  17. You should be able to change it using the AdminCP panel and editing the member profile.

  23. I've moved the post to the Open Discussion forum. I read a forum for PDA developers besides this one.
  24. You download the latest version of WordPress and extract it on your own computer and then upload the missing files. That would be the simplest I believe.
