  1. I've sent you a PM please answer it and I will take a look.
  2. You need a file called index.htm, index.html or index.php for it to load a page by default when you go to your domain link. And Case matters, these are Linux servers and not Windows.

  4. Dan, there is something wrong with your feed link. Your feed link reads like this: >feed://http//blog.danvoyles.us/feed/ When it should read like this: >http//blog.danvoyles.us/feed/

  6. Manually updating Wordpress is a snap as well.
  7. Adding a redirect in cpanel will write the exact same line to the .htaccess file I manually added. So to answer you question again, it hasn't hurt my ranking. All redirects are stored in the .htaccess file regardless if you manually enter them or let cpanel do it.
  8. As I said, my rankings were not hurt and I never was removed from Google.
  9. Yes, they can be done through cpanel but I just edited the .htaccess file. Example: >Redirect permanent /index.html http://my-domain.ext/index.php If all your pages were renamed from html to php you could use: >Redirect permanent /*.html http://pdabruce.com/*.php

  17. I stick an index.html page in my folder when I'm making major changes to my blog so that users don't see the finished product until it's done. When I'm ready to go live I delete the index.html and my site is served up.
  18. It is ultimately your responsibility to backup your data but yes, backups are available to restore. And when the new backup systems are on all the servers your site will be backed up twice a day.
  19. Alan, just read the Acceptable Use Policy. This question gets asked over and over and over. If you have two domains you can park one on the other but the entry point must be the same. You cannot redirect to a folder within your web space. Otherwise you need a reseller account to do this.
  20. You need to open a ticket with the help desk.
  21. As far as I know there is no such code. The Next Page button is just an html link to another page usually generated dynamically. You can tab to it and click the Enter key but there is no shortcut to do the same.
  22. You building up these servers yourself? Or just stock piling the parts?
  23. Nice car Bill
  24. Get your friend's IP address and open a ticket with the help desk and ask if it is being blocked.
  25. Content, content, content.... and post often to keep them coming back.
