  4. Welcome to the Family Vlad and your new home! Yep it does take a few days for the DNS to settle down and all the many IPS nameservers to be updated. I know you will be happy here with all the great staff and family members willing to help. We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help
  5. Welcome to the Family Paul and your new home! I saw the old at home earlier, but now I see the new at work. It sometimes does take 72 hours to settle down, and e-mail may lag a little longer. Not much you can do but wait By the way hi neighbor Im from near Midland MI. We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help
  6. Beth remember that jpeg images are compressed and its not a good idea to modify them from the origial more than once to mantain the best quality. CSB does alter the images to include them inside your .tlx file. I resize and compress once and ftp them to an image folder, then insert them in a page using the IMG tag and you can use the border attribute at the same time. Example: <img src="/image/imagename.jpg" alt="alt name" width="300" height="225" border="2" /> You can get the height and width from Irfranview info button. This way your .tlx file will be much smaller and the images will be as you originally modified them.
  7. I had the same problem once, and I added a new user / password in MySql, then added that user to the guestbook database and I was able to log into the admin page. if that is what you did and it is still not working then open a help ticket to see if the techs can help
  8. Paulo I am sorry no one has answered. Maybe you can install both to see how much they take. I do not use a shopping cart, but I will move this to online business, and maybe some one will see it there.
  9. Skye there is some information about cpanels mailman on the TCH help site including announcement only instructions that may help.
  10. Margo, if you need any help just ask our family here.

  14. Hey that is very cool!
  15. Yes you can edit your .htaccess file and in cpanel there are a few shortcuts to help such as Apache Handlers where you can add the same thing to allow php in an html page
  16. Welcome Billie Jo Be sure to drop by the introductions forum when you sign up to get your official warm welcome
  17. LOL in firefox I see an alert box "right click dissabled" then I see the normal right click menu with image save
  18. In cpanel you can use Index Manager The index manager will allow you to turn indexes on or off for a directory. If indexes are off, people will not be able to see what files are in a directory that lacks an index file. You can also just put an index.html page in a folder you wish to keep from being browsed.
  19. You are welcome
  20. Tracy, I copy the entire guestbook folder to my computer so I can maintain backups of the files and it is easier to browse through the files to see how it works. In the lang/english.php file you will find the text for the various messages. <?php # General $LANG["metatag"] = ""; $LANG["BookMess1"] = "HTML code is disabled"; $LANG["BookMess2"] = "HTML code is enabled"; $LANG["BookMess3"] = "Sign the Guestbook"; $LANG["BookMess4"] = "Back to Guestbook"; $LANG["BookMess5"] = "Administration"; $LANG["BookMess6"] = "Thank you for stopping by my site. Here you can leave your mark."; I also zip up the original files in case I want to get the original file back. You will not need the change permissions of the files this way, just ftp them back to their original place.
  21. Wow more good info Thumbs Up Thanks Joe.
  22. Welcome Margo if your current host has cpanel, you may be able to get tech support to copy your old account to your new account here, e-mail, databases and files. It would make it easier, just open a help ticket, link at top of page after you sign up.
  23. Welcome to the Family and your new home! In cpanels MySQL You should be able to set a user and password and then add the user to the database (agbook) and then be able to sign in. You can use the old user name too, but add if not open a help ticket (link at top of page). We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help
  24. It looks like the page that has the error is photoblog/index.html should it be photoblog/index.shtml
