Yep the spambots have gotten very good at putting your address back together
from hex code to scripts.
The only safe way to have someone contact you from your site is a form that hides your addy in the php form handler.
Um Steve what tool are you speaking of?
as to the firewall problem with firefox
be sure to allow javascript
in tools > options > web features
or try
goto tools > options > web features and add TCH to the allowed popup sites
I am going through my e-mail looking for all the catchall addys I use
and will create forwards for them.
All the new virus e-mails I am getting now
from me to me
are motavating me at last
Welcome to the forums Bryan
Its true,
support is for sever issues, and not third party scripts.
But hopefully a family member here more experienced with WP
will come along an have some ideas.
When you use :fail:
the senders e-mail server will return a bounce message
not your server.
I am in the same boat, about to use :fail: myself
and have used so many alias addys, but I need to do it to stop the new spam and virus e-mail.
Are you the domain owner
or is your name and e-mail address shown on the whois.sc/yourdmain
If so you should be able to start a transfer
and reply to the e-mail from the current register
"do you want to transfer?"
If not I think you will unfortunately have to contact the current register.
