Don't worry about it it can be confusing when you are starting out for the first time with all the unfamiliar terms and things to do. But once you get a page successfully published you will be able to concentrate on building your site. Let us know if you need help when you get that welcome e-mail. And don't forget the setup for an ftp program or whatever you are going to use ftp.your-tch-domain remote directory: public_html passive mode; yes

I have more than 20 forwards thats why I back them up through cpanel>backup>download alias (forwards) If I need to restore its just a few mouse clicks.

Dori if you do not see the login you do have to have javascript enabled.

Welcome to the forum and the family Justin I have not heard of this happening. When the techs get this straightened out you can go into your cpanel>backup and download email alias for your own backup and if need be upload them in the same place. you can also Download a home directory Backup to have a backup of your web site files including e-mail And don't forget database if you use them.

Ok, but did you open the help desk ticket about your domain? in the welcome e-mail you will see a number like 69.50.221.206 to access your cpane use http://69.50.221.206/cpanel and then type in your tch cpanel name from your welcome e-mail and the password this will take you to your cpanel for ftp use ftp.69.50.221.206 in your ftp program for the domain remember to add to the remote directory public_html And to view your site before the domain name works use http://69.50.221.206/~cpanelname

First if you have not done this please open a help desk ticket to the techs to find out why your domain does resolve yet. That is the proper method of support. This way there is a record that all techs can see. The numbers in your welcome e-mail is the ip address of your server and with that you can use an ftp program to connect to your account set the ftp up as ftp.your-server-ip/~your-cpanel-name remote directory: public_html user: your-cpanel-name passive: yes you can also open your cpanel by going to your-server-ip/cpanel and use your tch-cpanel name and password. After your domain resolves change the ftp log-in to ftp.your-tch-site

What Php Script Should I Install That Is Allowed?
TCH-Don replied to hipchick's topic in Installing Scripts
Kathy I know many family member that are using Dodosmail it very easy to set up and use. As per the directions change the 2nd line to your e-mail and try the test.html file that comes with it which is a sample form. And you are all set. -
I would search hotscripts for a file or directory lister.
