Endor is going to be moved quickly to allow some extra room for maintenance. Should only take 5 minutes.

Fresia is now back online. I will announce the next system shortly

Plavin is now back online. Fresia will be the next server moved.

Tarvis is back online. Plavin will be the next server down for maintenance.

Endor and applecore are both online. Tarvis will be the next server down for maintenance.

Dagobah is back online and Endor is on it's way up. Applecore will now be going down for maintenance.

Naboo is back online and Dagobah is on it's way up. Endor will now come down and be moved.

Naboo is currently performing an fsck and will be back online shortly. I will be bringing down Dagobah to move while this completes.

Everything is set to begin the next set of servers. Naboo is the next server to be brought down.

R2D2 is back online. I will need to move the power for the old network switch, which will cause the remaining servers to blip. This will take about a minutes and then we will begin with the remaining servers.

Danuta is back online. R2D2 is performing a filesystem check and should be online shortly.

While disconnecting R2D2 for the move, the power cord for Danuta came unplugged as well. Instead of bringing it back online and then down again, Danuta was moved simultaneously. Both servers are on their way back up.

Yavin is back online. The next server to be done is R2D2

Kalee is back online. The next server done will be Yavin.

Kamino is back online. The next server will be Kalee.

Coruscant is back online. Kamino will be the next machine to be moved.

The first server going down is Coruscant.

If only I had known this was coming out of my retirement fund beforehand.... Finishing up some last minute prep and then I will begin with the server moves.

Greetings TCH Family, Tonight we will be moving a few of the shared servers to a new rack. This move is for the installation of new power reboot bars. It was decided that instead of taking multiple servers down and replacing the power strips, we would move them a few feet one at a time. Downtime expected is between 10-20 Minutes per server as they are pulled over to the new rack and reconnected. We will begin around 1:00AM EDT. I will post in the individual server locations as well as here when they are being brought down. The servers involved are: Naboo Endor Bespin Danuta R2D2 Ossus Tarvis Dagobah Coruscan Kamino Kalee Yavin Plavin Applecore Fresia

Have you tried disabling the USB 2.0 through the BIOS, or moving the NIC card to a different PCI slot? On an older machine of mine, I had to have the cards in certain slots or there would be issues with the hardware conflicting. My issue is that one of the cards would just not show up, but it may be worth a try for you.
