  8. The older versions of Formail is very insecure. Anything 1.9 or back is not allowed on TCH servers. The admins review the reports daily and will remove any insecure version found. I am not sure if it is well known, but I have a zero tolerance level for SPAM. I do mean ZERO. So if you do sneak a unsecure version of a formmail script on our servers and its exploited, your account is terminated. I make it policy, we dont warn spammers, we dont suspend spammers, the accounts get removed from the servers period. There is formail clone included with cpanel for all to use, it is secure and is a good script. Thanks for the ?
  9. yep we can do that.
  10. Look Lianna - your own little cute forum! You must be so happy!
  11. Here is the product link for Cute Site Builder. It is a great program and is highly supported. http://cuteftp.com/cutesitebuilder/
  12. Imagemagik is there or can be installed. If you have a valid technical reason for SSH we will consider your request for such. Cheers!
  13. Hotlinking is when another web site owner links directly to one or more of your images or multimedia files and includes it on their web page. Not only is this theft of your intellectual property, you are paying for the bandwidth used by that site. Refer to this article for more information on hotlinking. cPanel can prevent hotlinking by only allowing named sites (such as your own web site) to access files on your site. To prevent hotlinking: Click on the HotLink Preventor link in the Advanced Menu area. Enter any other addresses that you will allow to access your site other than the provided defaults in the central area. Enter the protected extensions in the Extensions to allow field. Make sure you separate each extension with a comma. Enter the address to redirect any hotlinking to in the Url to Redirect to field. Click on the button.
  14. Hi, I take it your using Frontpage? If so what version. That will help me point you in the right direction!
  15. Watch out about remote linking. Nothing can make another person more upset then when you link to a graphic on his/her website. Some people consider this bandwidth theft. I dont know where I stand on this issue, just be carefull with it. Bill
  16. No you can order hosting anytime. Did you buy the domain from us? If so you should have gotten a confirmation email. Bill
  17. Section31 ... telling it like it is!
  18. Depends on how much CPU it eats. If its intensive our admins will kill it straight away. Remember this is shared hosting.
  19. Andrew - Your avatars are so cute. Whats the little ones name?
  20. Cpanel Parses the webmail services thru port 2095. This is the defualt and we are not willing to make a change on it. I thought lianna's idea of using a secure third party email client was a good idea, however i see the spam side of the equation also. Most Corporate IT departments block ports for a reason. They simply do not want lan users to import mail and such into the lan. Sorry we cant help but at this time there is not plan to make any changes to the way the web mail is setup. One more thing, all the control panels used also parse to a port. Cpanel to 2082 and WHM to another. So you would be in trouble behind that corporate firewall either way. Thanks Bill Kish
  21. your domain has to propagate first of all. then its really easy its in your Cpanel under sub domains
  22. grc.com
  23. What you consider adult content and what others consider adult content may vary greatly. We will not host any site that in our sole judgement that is unlawful, indecent or objectionable. I dont feel i need to explain this, however for the benefit of open discussions, I will . Pornography is not hosted on our Servers. We DO allow adult content. However, we do not allow Pay for porno sites, hardcore or softcore sites or any pornography in any shape or form. With that said, we WILL host Adult Content Sites. There is a a clear path between Adult Content and Pornography. For example - A gay pride site would fit in just fine, however, a photo site of gay pornography would not. Adult content is just that - content meant to be seen and viewed by adults. It DOES not mean pornography. We host a domain for a artist that renders art work of naked models. All done in abstract form, they are awesome works of art. This would be considered pornography to some to others its art. That site would fit just fine on our servers. I hope this clears things up for you.
