rangerfan Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 I just signed up for hosting with totalchoice and I am pleased to be here. however, much to my surprise when i logged into my account the amount of disk space i was given was much more than what was advertised. Now, I am not one to complain, but will this be taken away from me? And why was I given more than what I was informed I was going to get? That is all. Thank you and I look forward to a long stay here at totalchoice. Jon
DarqFlare Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Jon, Can't quite tell you why that happened. I'll get in contact with some of the techs to see what happened here... I'll let one of them reply personally to you. By the way, welcome to the family! I hope you enjoy things around here!
ShamrockGirl Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 How much space did they give you?! How can I get more space for free?
rangerfan Posted May 6, 2004 Author Posted May 6, 2004 Well I signed up for the silver plan and got 850mb of space. The site says 500m.b. Perhaps I should send in support ticket and ask them.
DarqFlare Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Go ahead and put in a support ticket. The link to do so is the "Help Desk" link up at the top of the Forums. They'll be able to help you out. In the meantime, I'll see what I can find for you...
ejh Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Dang! You sure are lucky!! I wish I could get some free space- that would be awesome. Thumbs Up
TCH-Dick Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Dont know how/why the new server got the accounts provisioned wrong, but we are looking into it. Dont know what, if anything will be done but I'm sure Bill (Head Guru) will be along eventually to give some more details.
ThumpAZ Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 (edited) It is the cosmic effect of multiplicity and psuedo-duplicity. either that or it is just the assumption that, in Tejas, everything's BIG Edited May 6, 2004 by TCH-Glenn
