feelsome Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 In my case, my brother registed for me as I had some problems here. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...?showtopic=6838 He(my brother) said it was so easy to follow and quick. I've found that both Signup & welcome email arrived almost at the same time Thumbs Up with his registration. I checked the cPanel and FTP out, and I loved it. I'm waiting for DNS propagation right now. :heart Thanks, guys. p.s. In the cPanel, where can I change my password? Quote

[=hris Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 sadly my experience with this system is less than perfect Quote
TCH-Dick Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 The system is brand new, it has been in place less than 24 hours there is more than likely going to be a few hiccups along the way to getting it perfect. Quote
Head Guru Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 sadly my experience with this system is less than perfect Your issue had nothing to do with our ordering system, but had everything to do with the AVS check as described here. Quote
[=hris Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Yes, there is obviously some problem with that avs system talking to my bank, because they say what we are entering is the same as what they have on record I hope this can be resolved Quote
Head Guru Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 I highly doubt that the AVS system used for every major credit card is wrong. What I do think might have happened is you might have made a unknown typo. For example. If your card is registered to 1234 Any Street And you enter 1234 any StReeT The address will be rejected. Quote
[=hris Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 the bank did actually say they had our address as all one line, which they say would have made a difference, however they recified that earlier today Quote
Head Guru Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 The only thing I can suggest is that you attempt to complete another signup. Make sure your address is precise and it matches your CC address. If it fails again please IM me. We will see what to do at that point. Thanks Quote
[=hris Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Ok, i will try again after dinner. The odd thing is that when i bought the domain from you, it didnt complain at all Quote
Head Guru Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Ok just let us know. You can IM me if you still have no luck. Quote
Head Guru Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 I have just reviewed your declined transactions. You are not entering a full street address. You are simply entering My Street I am sure there is a number related to your house? Quote
[=hris Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 I am just about to try another sign up In the UK however, a lot of houses do not have a number. My full address is My House, My Street, Town, County (like state) Post Code (in format XX# #XX - like a zip code) Quote
[=hris Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Woohoo its all sorted out - HG set up an order for me, and now i have hosting Excelent customer service Rock Sign Quote
