jim_bob45506 Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 As I have posted here before, finding a reliable webhost has been a learning experience for me. My latest issue with my former hosting company has been they charged my credit card for hosting I cancelled (and they acknowledged cancellation). This is the second time it has happened in as many months. Now I have to file for another refund. Ad to this, the weekly website reports of site uptime: former host averaged 92% uptime, TCH sites have been 100%. All but one of my sites have been moved over to TCH. They work as they should, no problems, no downtime and for the price of hosting, it is a humongous value. Thanks, TCH. I am glad I found you. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 jim_bob, We are glad you found us too. Thanks for the kind words. Thumbs Up Quote
Deverill Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 Welcome to the family, Jim_bob! (We'll have to rename it to Total Jim Hosting if we get any more Jim's!) If you ever need anything just yell! Quote
jslagle Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 rename it to Total Jim Hosting OK with me, most everyone here is named Jim or wishes that they were named Jim. Kind of has a nice sound to it. TJH Hosting Welcome to TCH. Rock Sign Quote
Lianna Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Yep, that's me: Lianna "I wanna be a Jim" Stover! Y'all can just call me Jim for short! Quote
TCH-Don Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Hmm, if we call it Turtle Choice Hosting we won't have to change the initials Naughty Quote
TCH-Rick Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Well, my first name is James so technically I guess I'm a Jim. Quote
TCH-JimE Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Me too @ Rick ! I think Total Jim Hosting sounds an excellant name! Quote
jslagle Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 There is only one obstacle before we change names. I think his name is Bill Quote
Deverill Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 I know! We can tell him it will be Total Bill Hosting and then when he agrees we change it to Total Jim saying it was a typo in the original! It truly is easier to get forgiveness than permission! So many Jims is why I use the pseudonym Deverill everywhere. I have about 3 evil twins out there with the same first, last and middle initial as mine so every time I went to sign up for anything from Walgreens to AOL the user name combinations based on that were all taken by these finely named fellows. Deverill is a D&D character I had back in the day when I did that kind of thing a lot and it is a very uncommon name so I almost always get it when I sign up for something. Quote
