Dennis Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Needed to do a quick poll to see whether the majority of the people has their browser on maximised when surfing. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Always and usually have 2 browsers open on 2 different monitors Quote
TCH-Sales Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 My desktop is usually cluttered with all kinds of diffrent windows most of the time. Always answering a few questions, or referancing something from the past posts.. I'm not really working till I get about 10 diffrent pages up and running at the same time, each with their own purpose. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I run Crazy Browser and usually have 10 or so tabs open. Quote
btrfld Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 For regular browsing I keep it maximized. But I do squeeze it down for testing, to make sure my pages display properly in 800x600. Quote
Digirunt Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I never run my browser maximised as I like to watch whats going on with my file sharing app in the background. But my screen res is at 1280X1024 all the time so it's still pretty big on the screen. Quote
rayners Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 Thanks to FreeBSD and X, I usually have about 4 virtual desktops going at once. One is email and IM programs. One is one giant browser window (Firebird with oodles of tabs, of course). And the other two are for programming and system updates respectively. So, yes, my browser is always maximized. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 I run a virtual desktop as well. I dont have them fully maximixed but they are at about 90 percent. Quote
