Hi, To password a folder: Find site management in cpanel Click on Web Protect Navigate to the folder (click on folder) Once found, click on folder name Tick the box and give it a unique name And add a user down the bottom Thats it! FTP will not be affected if you do it this way Jim

Hi, You will need two seperate accounts if you have 2 domain names unless your software area is connected to the main site, the subdomain will be ok. E.g your domain name will be: www.domainname.com and your subdomain will be Http://subdomain.domainname.com If thats ok, then its not a problem. If you intend using multiple domain names to do it, then thats not ok. Other then that, it sounds the plan will cover everything you need, and remember, you can give it a try (we give you a IP address to use until propergation has occured) and if your not happy, we offer a 30 day money back policy! What more could you ask for! Jim

Hi, Creating skins for Cpanel unfortuantley creates possible secruity breaches. The current one we have is fully patched, so why fix what is not broken? Jim

Tracey, What you could do is password protect the folders in question. You only need one htaccess file. Jim

Sam, An MX record is like a signpost at your domain name. An email comes along, sees the MX sign and runs off in that general direction. You should be able to change the MX vaule without a problem. Bill will be able to answer the rest of your questions Jim

Hi, In phpBB you have 2 choices, either they can upload there own or they can hotlink to them. Jim

Hi, 1. Yes that is correct. 2. Nope, the only size factor is the size of the inbox its going too. Obviously if you have a massive 1gig attachment, its not going to work! 3. SMTP and IMAP are supported (edited to avoid confusion) 4. Yes we do. Thanks and I look foward to having you as part of the family. Remember, we offer a 30 day money back policy, so if you don't l ike us, you have nothing to loose! Jim

Hi, If moving to a semidecidated server, it depends how full the server is. A maximum of four accounts share a server on a semi-dedicated one, so it depends at which stage you hop on board. Till that point, neither of your questions can be answered. Sorry! Jim

Bill, We still having that VB board? Jim

Hi, Domains take upto 72hrs to propergate through the net. At this point, all the major name servers that every single ISP in the world refers too will be updated and pointing to your new domain. What may take a few hours more is the resetting of your ISPs cache. 99% are good, its just the odd 1% who fail to update there cache for a bit. Have no fear, your site is running just fine Jim

Hi, Download Winzip and zip and produce an .exe so they can unzip it the other end or just a normal zip file. Or, resave it as a text file and when they have download it, open it in notepad and resave as a .pl file Jim
