If I understand you correct, this is true. As soon the domain have been moved, log in to the cpanel at your TCH account and set up the addresses again, and the email should work. However, until the move of the domain name is complete you might need to check the email in both new and old location.

The backups for s 81 was one or two days old if I remember correct and I believe the server is up and running now, so if anything looks weird or posts from your phpbb are missing, please open a ticket. As for how often to backup, the more important your data is, the more often you should backup.
