Only the helpdesk can restore a full backup. You need to upload it to somewhere in your account and then ask the help desk to restore it. Upload it through the filemanager in cpanel or through ftp. Or you can ask the help desk if they have a backup, but this backup may be older than your own backup.

You will need to contact the helpdesk about this. Link on top of page and in my signature. Too, also be sure that you run the latest version of any script that you have. Also be sure to use strong passwords for everything that needs passwords to prevent these things.

In thunderbird account settings, try: Server name: yourtchdomain.com User name: yourname@yourtchdomain.com The rest you can leave as they are I believe. Restart thunderbird. It should now ask for the password which is the same password that you assigned to yourname@yourtchdomain.com when you set up that emailaddress in cpanel.

Welcome to the forum, paddingtonbear. You have two options. 1. Install the version 1.0.8 and then go to joomla.org and download the appropriate patch package. Then just replace the files that are in your newly created joomla folder with those in the patch package. 2. Go to joomla.org and download the full 1.0.10 package and install it manually, which would be preferred.

Unlimited email addresses means you can set up as many addresses you want (a@yourtchdomain.com, b@yourtchdomain.com, c@yourtchdomain.com, d@yourtchdomain.com and so on) These addresses can be managed with either webmail or pop/imap (outlook, thunderbird etc), it´s your choice how to manage them. One click installs are simply a collections of "wizards" that lets you set up a certain script such as forums, guestbooks, wikis and much more, with more or less a click of a button. Procedure would be, log in to your cpanel, find the fantastico or scripts section, in there click the link of the script you want to install, the wizard will ask you a few questions (like in to which folder to install this script to etc), then click the install button and your script of choice are ready to be used. I have personally not tried all one click installs, but there should be no cut and paste of codes. But if there is, the wizard will tell you step by step what to do. If you get stuck in something, there are lots of people here willing to help, so give us a shout and we will be there for you. As for "online-shops", I know there are one or a few popular ones in the fantastico/scripts.

The site has been added. The previous request was made on September, 4 2004. Since then we have had several cleanups of the family pages so perhaps it was removed in an earlier cleanup? I don´t know who might have removed it and for what reasons, but I do know that this page was not listed when I checked the backlinks for the last cleanup. Please accept my apologies for this.

I had never heard of Ecto before your post, but after some searching I found a post at: http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/archives/001602.php which is indicating this should work. This seems to have been a big problem for many before WP version 2.x so, if you are using anything less than the latest version of wp, I would definately recommend you to upgrade as soon as possible.
