Also remember that there is often an announcement in the Wordpress section when a new version is out including link to upgrade instructions.

I would try uploading it through cpanels file manager and see if it works. If not, submit a ticket and ask if they have changed anything on the server.

Yes, this is what you will probably need to do. Please try Bruce's instructions above and see if it works. As for the ticket problem, not really sure what happened here, but you can always reopen the ticket and ask them how it goes, or you can try contacting them through their IM´s or the live chat, please see this page for contact options.

MSF seems to be a Summary File and SBD seems to be Mail Subdirectory files. Source: filext.com I would backup the whole profile folder and not just the msf and SBD though. This way you would loose no mail, settings or anything.

The only place I can think of looking in besides your own username is "All users" and "Default user" and if then not found, I would search the whole computer and see where it went.

Welcome to the forum, mycat2. Are your ISP blocking port 25? If so you will need to change it to 26 and if that does not work you can try to use your isp´s smtp settings and see what happens.

The dbsender option in the thread Andy links to, sends the backup to any email address you tell it. Personally I use a gmail address and it works perfectly.

Sorry OJB, I don´t know of any software that will do this, but check hotscripts.com or google. I am sure you will find something that will do what you want there. But, I see you are running a very very old version of IPB (version 1.3 while IPB now is up to version 2.2 I think). Have you tried SMF, which many of the TCH members use?
