He is located in the UK and i am not sure if that means anything when hosting. No. About a good 80% of all the members on te site are actually in Europe and i was also curious if this effected things with the distance. Bandwidth wise. No. I had another friend create an account and site with TCH and they have a $5 a month plan but i dont seem to see that one listed...does it exist? That must be the silver plan. Is there a discount for paying a full year in advance? From the billing help page, "Prepay for one year on any web hosting plan (excluding reseller plans), and receive the last month of service free!"

In notepad paste what WP says in the permalinks section, name this file .htaccess.txt (note the dot at the beginning) then upload it to your public_html and rename it to .htaccess (ie remove the .txt part).

But where to load the lasarusgb folder to? do I make a lazarus folder on my root directory or do I load it to the php directory or make a lazarus directory under public-html? I would upload the folder "lazarusgb" as it is, into the public_html directory. After that you can change the folder name "lazarusgb" to what ever you wish. I have edited the config script according to the directions and my database settings.. once loaded up, how do I execute it? In your web browser please go to yourdomain.ext/your_lazarus_folder/install.php (don´t forget to change the part yourdomain.ext/your_lazarus_folder/ the correct) Once you visit the above url you should be presented with installation instructions. Also it mentions in the instructions to make sure I have all the permissions set correctly for the tmp and public folders... I see the tmp folder, but do you by chance know if they are referring to the public-html folder? The folders that needs permissions changed are inside your lazarus folder. Do not change any other tmp folders inside your public_html.

After that (while still have the "edit css" open), in the same "css" menu, chose "View style information". Now when you hover your mouse over your site, a red square shows up. Hover over your logo for example, then click on the logo, so your logo gets kind of marked with that red square. Now the css part that controls the logo part will show up in the lower part of your Firefox window and you can see which part to edit. Then go back to the tab saying "edit css" (lower part of your Firefox window) and make a change in the logo section. Your change(s) should show up instantly and if it looks like you want, save the new css file to your computer and upload it to where your "old" css file is.
