Thanks Mike, read both, did not really find what I was looking for, so I will ask, A friend and myself want to run a MUD, it will be small, to start, but we need to know if that will br against the TOS, and we have agreed that if it starts to be a load on the server, or a problem to the host we will pull the plug. I also need to find a small MUD program to start out with. But can not locate one at the moment.

I am sorry, if I am bugging you all, I need to find the link to the TOS, I want to add a program game on my website, but I need to read the TOS to see what I want to do is/will be against the TOS. Thanks

Your right there Aaron, but you also have to realize that with PP or andy Micro$oft product, ( I once did my site in PP) it adds tons of line codes, I belive when I went back to HTML, my site (one page ) had over 1500 lines of code, it has the same coding as my HTML page (35 lines of code) and it is hard to do a quick edit, in PP as it is in HTML.

I use a program called "incredimail" had the account since 2/4/2005 and since after xmas is when the trouble began never mind got it figured out, I created a folder called TCH, and all emails from TCH go there, well evidently it was not finding the folder, deleted the message rule, all TCH email go to my inbox, I now get the TCH emails Thanks

I am pop3 server port 465, I get my email sent ot my computer, just like this email, A indicator told me that I had new mail, but it is not on my computer. What is web interface?<<<if you mean log into gmail throught the internet, I do that to check the mail I am told I have but do not get<<<<

I have a Gmail account, worked fine for a LONG time, now for some reason, it says like 1 of 9 new messages, but I will only get one message, funny thing is that the only mail I do not recive on my computer is TCH emails, does anyone else run gmail and have this problem?

ok, I guess what I want maybe is not doable, I run frames, (I know, but I like it) I have a header/footer/navbar/main area. I want it that when you change pages the header changes also, I remeber seing it done some whare, bit can not remember where. So that is why I want to try my habd at PHP

I would love to learn PHP, an thought my site would be a great way to learn

What does it take to convert my HTML based site into a PHP based site? Is it easy, hard, should a newbie try to attempt this. Thanks

I use coreFTP, and the host name for me is "www.jaysarahandy.com" I have never used the FTP.domainname.ext. But maybe different FTP program do thing differntly. But as was started above, if you Cpanel userid/password is: me/here, then in the username and password columns you have to put in me/here. Make sense? Good luck

My last host the cpanel allowed password protecting cetain files with a password, but all I can find is the ability to just password protect directories. Is there a way to password protect a file. Thanks

this might be late in replying but I have a gmail accout ( the past year) and I have had maybe 6-10 pieces of spam.

Thanks thomas, but no differance, I did what it said, logged out, cleared my cookies and cache and then went back to the photos, and was able to view the pictures, I will just have to maybe look for a different way to do it, maybe a forum style board, that allows picture area. I need so help or advise, (if this is not suppose to be here please delete it) Here is the problem, I want to make my photos only available to only people that register, not the whole world, the only way I can do that was to create ids and passwords and make my family Adim, and the make the gallery off line so that only the Admin can log in, well I really do not want my family to see all the extra buttons, so is there a way (hack/mod or what ever) to restrict the picture to only registered members, I also want an email informing me that there is a registation waiting, (of course I would create the id and password myself). Thanks
