hey debbi, if you get the site installed and you go to the admin>manage boards>add board and you get a?: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /nuke/modules/Forums/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. let me know I have this problem, and if you do not, let me know what you did to not get that problem Thanka... I just installed that on my site, and I get that error, and the simplemachine forum has bee of no help Jayson

no that's ok Bill, it was my fault, I asked them to delete my DB's and they must of misunderstood, and deleted my whole site...not a big issue, I will just rebuild Thanks for your concern

well, got my site back, now I got to rebuild the DB, but I have a guy who set me up once before, willing to set me up again.

um, yea, no maybe? I have all the changes on my HD, now I just got to figure out how to do the setup again, TCH did the setup, but I do not want to bother them with this problem

just went to my site, and to my surprise, my site files and everything is gone, I asked to have my DB removed, did not know that I would lose my whole site.. hmmmm, I think I did bad... Oh well time to rebuild

yea, I just asked them kill all my db and reset all my passwords, back to the default. got to many usernames and passwords, got to get a solution, they are good people.

well if I could fix the error I would really consider using it, but can not get past the error. and right now it is in the test phase, so not really worried, but I will do the verification, that is a good Idea

I really only care about the calendar, I supose I could ecit out the nav buttons on the calendar end, and just not have it going to the forum. that is the type of calendar I am looking for. I suppose I could suck it up, and forget about the sercurity issues, and add on the calendar mod to phpbb. Oh what to do......

ok, I have coppermine it's database is ********_*** I just installed a forum, but could not install it because it could not find a database, I wanted the DB to be rondo_ecfe so I have to install the forum with my copermine info, How do I install it in its own DB. Thanks

well, I just installed SMF, LOVE IT I love the calendar and forum in one place, I also run PHPBB, is there a way to transfer my phpbb into my SMF? if you want to see it go to My Webpage thanks for the great idea
