I looked around on t he coppermine program, the one I have installed, where does it tell me the version I have. ok found it, it says I have: coppermine photo gallery 1.3.4. So I guess I need to upgrade.

from what I have found out, you have to do it in pairs, I tried to upgrade my computer from 256 to 512, (2 128meg chips) ( 1 512 chip) and it would not boot. Went back to the 2 128 chips, and worked well, I asked about it, and was yold that you have to upgrade the memory in pairs. 2/64 - 2/128 - 2/256....Unless I was told wrong.

I just downloaded the new coppermine. Now I run coppermine, and it has been upgraded twices, but not by me, I had someone from my old host do it for me. How do I do an upgrade without screwing up my whole site. I know the first rule....BACKUP the program!!! Thanks

I was able to get in a look around, I might join, I really miss roleplaying campains.. The only thing I noticed that was not working, and you might already know this, is that I could not get into any of the inchat rooms, I got a: Not Found The requested URL /forum/chat/flashchat.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. not sure if this is a problem being worked on.. But great looking site, I will have to look at it more later.

I thought there was a PHP forum, might of missed it or never say one. But I am creating a website that uses a newsletter, and they want it to be a little better, right now the mail goes to one person. they want a "subscribe" "unsubscribe" option. is there a simple script out there.

I user email encription. it uses the hexadesimal coding and been using that for about 2 years, and have not gotten spam, or anything. Just a thought

how does one look at the awstats?

could be the program, when I joined TCH, I had to upload my site to here, and it was 85 megs, Zipped, an it went off without a hitch, I use filezilla, but for small files upto 5 megs Just looked, the file is 87.5 megs

I have a friend that loves my site, and all the good thinks I keep saying about the hosting family, but my friend is short on funds husband is an ahole, and think all money that is hers is his... she is looking to do some hosting, and me as the designer, at the moment she is looking for a hosting site that has free hosting, she has no problem with a link back to the host. Now I am not sure if TCH does that, my old host did that, but being like they are, discontinued that serbice, so she got screwed, I was able to back up the site in time. Thanks for letting me rant.

I did not have to add that to my .htaccess. All I did was I went to my cpanel, clicked on error files, opened error404.htm rewrote it, and then sdaved in, to see mine go to. www.jaysarahandy.com/photos, and when it ask you for a password, just click cancel. I never touched my .htacess file

Is there someone here (or a forum area) that I can paste my hijackthis log to, so someone can analyze it? I want to make sure it is clean Thanks
