Wasn't sure where to put this, so apologizies ahead of time if there was a better spot for it. I am trying to customize my weblog, I use MT. And there is something I want to do that I can't figure out You can click on my link below (My Weblog) to see what I mean (I hope). What I want to do is: See how the posts run together more or less? How would I squeeze in a blank space between each day? Someone's blog I've seen has it set up like this, but I'd like to see if anyone knows here before I hunt down some unsuspecting blogger. I have a reseller account, but I don't re-sell it usually. It is nice to have because there are friends I can give space to without them hassling with free webspace and all the ads

Unfortunately, as soon as a company can figure out how to actually weed the spam out of your email box, the spammers will figure out another way to get around it.

I checked in search and couldn't find anything along these lines. And I thought this was a good part of the forum to ask (understood if this is moved). There are webpages and even some peoples signatures that show a graphic of the messaging program they have (ie ym, aim, msn) and it shows if they are online/offline and you can click on the graphic and msg this person. Can anyone fill me in on how to do this? woooot

Out of curiosity, what is Berkeley DB? I've seen it when installing MT, but don't know what it is.

Thank you Lisa! I would try to work on it this evening, but I need his admin pass. It is odd though, I installed mine without a single problem and used the same copy for his, even walked through about 75% of it with him at his home. Yet he is the one that has the problems... He is even installing it on space I have given him from my reseller account

I helped a friend install Gallery and is now having a few problems come up. One of the errors is as follows, I can't seem to find it on the Gallery FAQ site. It comes up when you go into view each picture, plus the picture doesn't show as being there, just the box with the x. Warning: key(): Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/macpolk/public_html/gallery/view_photo.php on line 436 Any ideas? I was thinking of reinstalling it for him, but would prefer to try to fix it before doing something like that.

I found one a few weeks ago that was "ok," but I don't have the link to that one anymore. This one that I do have the link to I think is much better. It lets you work with the font style, size, color, button background, and lets you change what you want on your button if you decide to have some sort of "go" button. http://www.htmlbasix.com/dropmenu.shtml I looked at the coding and I see no sort of JS in it. I usually generate a code for just a few links, then add them as I go when I have it in my html

Weird, with the ones with the no right click, it wouldn't drag to my desktop at all.

I've found a few non-java script drop down menu generators on the web that work awesome. They work through html form tags and you can choose whether or not to have a go button

As I was browsing around to see what kinds of domains are up for sale and sometimes the ridiculous amount, I stumbled on this site that said www.kerryedwards.com is a hot domain right now. Apparently it was owned by a bondsman for his personal page, but there are democrat groups that begged for the domain (even asked for this bondsman to "donate" it to the democratic party). So now it is up for auction (the bondsman wanted to make money of course, I would to ) and I believe it was at $150,000. Glad the domains I want don't cost nearly that much woooot

There has been only 1 bid so far. Geeze, if I had that much $ laying around, I'd spend it on something cool like a...sports car? hehe (j/k)

I'm going to test out a couple more and see what I think. Now that plog one does sound like it deserves a test run... Lisa, I was at the bookstore earlier and not only got the PHP book I said I would, but I grabbed a CSS book too woooot

I dunno.. I have Textpattern installed and well, I guess I have just used MT so much that Textpattern looks foreign to me

Re: graphics to the left. Those are avatar pictures, you can control yours by going into "My Controls" and somewhere to the left there is a link to "Edit Avatar Settings." Some of us use our own avatars and there are some that are provided for you. If you want one that is provided, just look through the list of the pre-installed avatars

Rock Sign !!! hehe I've been with TCH for almost a year and a half. I have had problems granted, but nothing is perfect. But ever since I've come to this hosting company, I have had tons of help with things that go wrong and everything gets cleared up quite quickly. Although, my only gripe is.. That graphic of the rocks with TCH on them that was in the smilies list before? I want that one back!!!
