Good morning folks. Can someone offer me a quick description of what GD Library is? Is it part of a script or is it something that is loaded on the server-side? The reason I ask is because I am having someone install a classified ads script on my site and he told me, "The GD libraries used in the script do not have support for gif images. Convert them to jpg and they should be OK." Is he mistaken saying the script has the GD libraries? I am trying to find a way have the script support other images besides .jpg. Thank you.

I vote this to be what happened in my case. I complete understand that mistakes happen...it would have been kinda nice if they would have just told me that 'there was a slight mixup' instead of having me wonder all day what they were referring to on my account. Thank you!

A reseller account was my second guess but I didn't mention it because I don't have a reseller account.................at least I didn't sign up for one. I do have multiple accounts but none are reseller.

I have checked and checked to make sure that the email and the support ticket URL are 'real' and from TCH and they sure look to be. I can't believe google doesn't have a single thing on it.

I had submitted a support ticket to change my domain name and the reply back is: "I could see that you are using the package dermoce_estetica. This package is set for 20 mega bytes. Please confirm it and get back to us so that we can check it out." Anyone know what dermoce_estetica is?

that's what I'm used to as well. But I have 'tested' three accounts and each took almost 10 minutes. Are you on a dedicated server...could that make a difference?

I have a message board that requires email validation for account activation. how are emails sent out from tch? Are they queued? It takes much longer than I expected for the emails to be recieved by the person registering for an account. thanks.

I just opened a second tch hosting account and each account has a different layout but both say they have the same "Theme cPanel X v2.5.0" according to cPanel. How many options/layouts are there? I also noticed that one of my accounts has a "Shared Ip Address" listed in the "General Information". Any idea what this is? I also have different Perl versions. Can the servers be updated so they have the same version of software? I am on server 85 and server 44. Thank you.

No. It does not add anything to an ANSI plaintext file provided that you open the text file and save it without changing the file format. If there is any problem, it is the line feed format. It always saves your documents into CR LF (Windows) formatting. This might be a problem for some *nix programs because they do not support CR LF format. However, if your FTP program can convert the text files to *nix formats during upload, you should not have any problem at all. I have read several posts on this site that say don't use Notepad or MS Word. But they recommend MS Wordpad. I know I had tons of trouble when I tried to install myphpadmin using Wordpad. It added all kinds of line breaks/spaces/or some code that hampered the installation. For some reason, when I create a new user the letter "l" is being added to the end of the username. I'm able to delete it and then add a new user but when I got back to the Mysql Manager it shows it with the letter "l" at the end of it...i've deleted it and added it several times but it has the "l" at the end of it. The MySQL Account Maintenance shows that the account was created with the name I wanted but on the page that shows the username it has an "l" at the end of it. I don't want to change my config.php file to reflect that name with the "l" at the end of it. Any ideas? thanks.

The last time I edited the config.php file I changed the dbpassword (in the config.php file) but I didn't change it wherever else it would need to be changed. Where would that be? I went into Mysql Manager but I couldn't find a password setup or anything related to a password...where should I be looking? thanks.
