  1. I've filters set up to catch specific "TO:" addresses and discard or :fail: them. Basically these are things I know are junk and I just want to get rid of them. However, I also have SpamAssassin activated and am finding that my filtered items are ending up in my Spam folder rather than being discarded or failed.
  2. I've not had any problems, but I run ZoneAlarm as well. Anyway, FireFox version 1.0.2 is out, perhaps that'll fix you up.
  3. Due to security issues you cannot add your own rules to Spamassassin. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, drat. Thanks Bruce.
  4. Does anyone know if it's possible to for one to create their own spam tests and scores to include with the standard SpamAssassin collection?
  5. I've opened a ticket on this, but just wondering if anyone else is having problems accessing their cpanel this morning?
  6. I ran into the same thing a few years ago. All's I had to do was send a copy of some identification proving I was who I said I was. It was a hassle, but not terrible. There have been some recent rule changes which make it significantly easier now I believe.
  7. One drawback I've seen to VBulletin is their inability to do a phrase search. Either that or the site I frequent doesn't implement it properly.
  8. I suspect you've got a diskette in your drive which it's trying to boot from. Remove it.
  9. Ah! It took a lot of digging, but found it here. Thanks guys.
  10. Anyone know where one can find the SpamAssassin user options for the latest version? I've been wading through their web site to no avail. Apparently use_terse_report no longer works. I want to mark emails as suspected spam without confusing them with info like it's from serverxx.totalchoicehosting.com and all the other SpamAssassin verbage. Previously I could set use_terse_report to 1 and it would fix all that.
  11. In case someone runs across this, go here for more current changes/techniques.
  12. Gotcha. Thanks, Andy. And I'll use Bruce's technique for those I don't want to bounce.
  13. Ah thanks.... I'll respond to that thread then.
  14. But wait! This is just the opposite of what you said here: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...wtopic=8327&hl= wherein you were encouraging the use of :blackhole: rather than :fail: Color me confused.
  15. I'd a number of forwards set up to forward to :blackhole:, but found that all of them are now set to :fail: ... I changed a couple, but before I switch them all back, I figure I should check and see if there's a known reason.
  16. Interesting. I'd be interested in finding out about this as well. I just signed up for an acct. with our state's tollway system. I entered my real email account into my profile there, but their communications actually comes addressed to me as: "**** CUSTOMER"@server**.totalchoicehosting.com (stars added for security reasons)
  17. My OS of choice is Mac OS but use a variety of XP machines as well.
  18. I don't know the specifics of this particular post, but I should point out that users always know that they can fill out a ticket, but I believe often people will post their dilemma here as a means to let other members (as well as moderators) help them point out something missed. From a user's point of view, it has the potential of saving a nuisance ticket to the techs and could educate others who may, in the future, run into the identical problem.
  19. I successfully do it as well with, for example, .*@hotmail.com
  20. Sounds to me like he's going to run out of excuses real fast while you're around.
  21. I agree with Lisa, email them and make them fix their problem.
  22. I was just coming to reply to my own message that indeed 2083 works. It used to translate correctly, but at least this is a workaround. Thanks, Bruce.
  23. I used to be able to log in to my cpanel using the syntax: https://<domain>/cpanel That no longer works ("connection refused"). I had to edit my bookmark and remove the "s" . Has the secure login been removed?
  24. Anywhere within reasonable driving distance of northern Illinois would be grand.
  25. Am getting the following error when logging in via the Horde option today: Could this possibly be due to the server work in progress?
