Case sensitivity? Grasping straws here. Not being condescending, just checking. Caps lock isn't on is it? When I was 20, I bought a TV and VCR. I couldn't get the VCR to record no matter what i did. Called tech support and the guy actually asked me if it was turned on! What kind of numbskull did he think that I was? As it turns out, the timer record function would only kick in if the VCR is OFF when the time clicks over. Wow, did I feel like a heel for getting up-ity with that guy! Moral of the story...no matter how assinign the question may seem, the guy has a reason for asking: somebody, somewhere, sometime had done it! Lianna

ALL ftp users, except the main account holder, must login using the name@domainname.com username. (Stumbled on that one myself.) I wasn't sure if that went for anon, too, but it was worth a shot. Glad it's ok now. Lianna

WE're glad you found us, too! 1. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Changing the DNS for your domain is not a big deal after purchasing the domain. BUT, I would buy the hosting package first, get my welcome letter with the DNS servers listed and THEN buy the domain name. (Of course you will want to make sure that the domain name is available before you commit your hosting package to it. Now, the reason that I suggest this is that it will just take a bit less time in this order for the domain name to propagate with the correct DNS servers. 2. Don't know of any issues with Mac, but Dreamweaver and FTP work just dandy on a PC. So, the question would really be, are there any Mac specific internet capabilities that you think might limit your abilities? (I'm not a Mac user, but I'll guess "No"). 3. Again, this is a Mac question...but cPanel is accessed via browser. Chances are if you don't have any problem accessing most other internet pages, then you won't have any issues with cPanel either. 4. Only ONE domain per plan unless you buy a reseller plan. Wow, <5 hours is quick to give up. Sorry that you had this problem. I couldn't replicate it. We know that there is a difference in the script for Counter between implementation on propagated and unpropagated domains. I'm wondering if your interchage, set up before DNS prop was completed was the culprit. Again, sorry that you had this problem. If there is any other information that you can give us to successfully replicate the issue, it may help someone else...or you, if you'd still prefer to use Interchange. Lianna

Three step process worked for me: My main account address is lstover. I want everything to go to "lianna". 1) I created lianna mail address. 2) I set default address to lianna (so all incorrectly addressed mail would go to lianna account). 3) I created a Forwarder for lstover to lianna All's well in my little world. Mail Washer. Free and easily configurable for multiple pop3 mail account collection. Even offers a "bounce back" feature that makes the sender think that your address doesn't exist. Since I have 14 email accounts (don't ask ), this is a really handy way for me to see what comes into the server without having to download the email (headers only or whole message by choice). Good suggestion Andrew. Yes, you will receive a welcome email with all the info as soon as your account has been provisioned. You will be able to upload using a temp IP address until your domain name transfers completely. For the DNS transfer, the welcome email will also have instructions for completing that. However, if you'd like Tech Support here to do that for you, simply drop a help desk ticket (also explained in the welcome email) and they can. WELCOME Home! Lianna

Alright, I understand what an image map is and what it does. All you said in your first post was "map code" and there are a lot of different kinds of maps, even in web design (site map, geographical map, image map, etc). So, now to your question though, I can't read your mind....Are you trying to: 1) Create an image map for another image that you want to use on a different page? 2) Use the same image and map only have it open in a new window? 3) Neither and I'm completely missing it?
