Thanks for the reply...I have gone to dsl reports and ran the speed test there and also at Vonage VOIP speed test and both show a 1 meg or less download speed when I usually test out at about 2.8 to 3.1 megs down. I guess by using these test sites that the dns issue in not an issue correct? By the way I have power cycled both my router and Motorola Surfboard Modem and still get those results thanks youneverknow

  13. The Motion Picture Association wants to charge you if you show DVD's in your home and have a home theatre. "The MPAA defines a home theater as any home with a television larger than 29" with stereo sound and at least two comfortable chairs, couch, or futon. Anyone with a home theater would need to pay a $50 registration fee with the MPAA or face fines up to $500,000 per movie shown."   15. It could be a record, (2 days) a security hole has been found that could open your bank account info or other sensitive data to others. You can test this by going to a test site set up to show you the flaw. http://secunia.com/Internet_Explorer_Arbit...erability_Test/ I downloaded IE7 the first day (10/18/06) it went gold. I wanted to see what my sites looked like in IE7. I think I'll continue to use Fire Fox as my browser of choice for now. youneverknow

  18. Hi, I installed the smf on my site, but the top banner says "mydomainname.com" and I want to change it to something else. Is there a simple way to do this? Keep in mind that I don't know html or anything about scrips etc. I use NVU (WYSIWYG) so keep it simple if possible.... thanks, youneverknow
