Still getting the same error message
-
I'm having a different problem in the install process. Movable Type has been extracted, and I edited the mt.cfg according to the instructions on the TCH Help site. I also added the database password into the file the instructions told me to. The next step in the install says to run "mt-check.cgi" from your browser, but when I try to go to the address I set MT up in, it returns this error: Any ideas?

Microsoft Win2k And Nt4 Sourcecode Leaked?

I have plenty of snow, it just won't pack. Stupid non-packing snow and your snowball fight ruining.

Yeah, back-up your documents that you want to keep someplace, and do a clean install of XP. ME will probably screw something up.

Another good one: Red vs Blue: Apple Switch Parody I'm pretty sure there is no profanity in this one. (10.1 MB)

I'm typing with the G3 iBook right now. If I have any advice for the people buying new Macs, it is not to buy them directly from Apple. You can find better deals on sites like pcconnection.com.

I stick with iTunes, now avaliable for both Windows and Mac OS. It rips, and organizes music for a jukebox right on your machine. www.apple.com

1. PoliticalCow.net 2. PoliticalCow.net 3. Political opinion site presenting views from several authors on a variety of topics. 4. Linkback in graphical form on the bottom of every page, plus a text link on the "Friends" page. Rank evaluation please? Thanks a ton, Collin

I don't know anything about phpNuke or what you are trying to say here, but you can easily back-up the database for your phpBB boards in the Admin panel. Then, with the boards installed on the new server you can restore your backed up database, again, in the admin panel. phpNuke shouldn't have an affect on the boards, you would simply link to them from Nuke's pages... I think.

Looks like wcg.net is dead. Its not responding to pings, nor can I get to it with a traceroute of my own from here.

Ok, changed the permissions, and everything is working fine now! Soni: The only thing I had to change was the permissions, so if you changed much else, you may have to change it back. I hope you got your's working too.

I'm having the same problem. The server however does not seem to be letting me change the permissions on the avatar folder (I'm trying to change the permissions through file manager). As for your question about avatar gallaries, Soni: I believe all you do is put a bunch of image .gifs inside the designated folder that you picked in your general preferences. I havn't actually done this, but that seems like what you would do. Users should then be able to pick form a bunch of avatars you supply instead of uploading their own.

Oh, must have missed that page. Thanks guys.

Does TCH have a "Powered By" or "Hosted by" button that people use for their sites? I want to recognise you at the bottom of my page, but I really am horrible at making photoshop images... Or, does anyone have one they do not mind letting me use?

If you have Photoshop (or somthing similar) you should be able to simply do a save as. Otherwise, someone might know of a conversion program somewhere, but I don't know of any off the top of my head. Try: www.download.com www.versiontracker.com To see if you can find a conversion program.

The only problem with that I see is there may be a ton of OS bashing going around, but maybe its not like that here. I havn't been here enough to notice the trends yet.

Anything like Photoshop should do it. Use the "lasso" (am I saying that right?) tool to select what you want to keep and crop it. Or, you can select what you don't want and hit the delete key to get rid of it. Programs I know of: Photoshop Paint Shop Pro GIMP (If you use Linux...)
