Gabe, You can park a domain over your existing domain. But as Don said you cannot point a second domain to a sub-doamin within your account.
-
Hi Sherie, I am making an assumption that you want a second domain name and have it point to the same web space as your current domain name does. All you need to do is purchase the new domain name, set the name servers to NS1 and NS2 (.totalchoicehosting.com) and then open a Help Desk ticket (link above) requesting that they park the domain name on your current domain. If my assumption was incorrect, then yes you will need an additional hosting plan or a reseller plan that will allow you to host multiple domain names.

Short answer: A router is a piece of hardware that sits between your cable/dsl modem and your computers. The router can be a hardwired device and/or wireless. It also acts as a firewall between your machines and the internet. Being behind the router adds another level of security if you don't open all the ports on the router to let the bad stuff through. I personally use a D-Link wireless router on my home network. At work I have an SMC hardwired router.

One more tool for you to look at would be K9 from http://keir.net/k9.html Between Spam Assassin and K9 I've been able to eliminate 99.99% of all my spam.

Server 46 is located in Atlanta (EST) and should handle the DST switch fine. -
Take a look at activating Spam Assassin if you are not currently using it. That should help.

Thomas, server 48 is located in Atlanta (EST).

Parked Domains And Email Accounts...

I'm pretty sure all you need to do is modify the MX record for the subdomain to point to your actual domain but please open a Help Desk ticket (link above) to be sure. -
Hi Dori, You add a subdomain in CPanel using the Manage Subdomains link. If you currently have the FP extensions installed they should be installed for the subdomain when you create the subdomain. In FP you would publish to the address subdomain.****** I would think. It's been a while since I've played with Front Page.

I guess you could go to the phpBB downloads page and get the full package and extract the file you need. Here's the link. http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php

HC is correct, the .ca domain can be hosted but not registered here. There are 2 BBs in CPanel. Invision and phpBB. Both are able to be customized.

TCH is the best web host I've ever been with and I don't have any intentions of moving my site again anytime soon. Thumbs Up Most of the family members know how Bill runs this company and it's much appreciated. Thanks Bill and crew!

If you are talking about Web Protect in CPanel it's pretty easy to use. When you select it, a list of your directories (folders) comes up. Select the folder you wish to protect. You will then be shown a screen where you can add users and passwords that can access this folder. Then upload your protected pages into this folder. Anytime someone tries to access anything in this folder they will be prompted for the login/password combination.

Have you tried another browser like Firefox, Firebird, Netscape or Opera? Do they hang? Are you losing your wireless connection?
