You can have unlimited subdomains on a regular account. You cannot however point a top level domain to a subdomain on a regular shared hosting account. For that you would require a reseller account. Still at $4/mo for a shared domain, $8 for two domains would be less expensive than the $20/mo reseller account. You can start with multiple shared accounts and if at a later date upgrade to a reseller package if you wanted to add more domains and have your individual accounts rolled into that reseller account.

I don't know what the longest ever was but let me say this. Server 26 had a complete meltdown. In about 16 hours it was completely replaced and back online. With any previous host it would have been down days. In fact it was once and that's why I am here.

Thomas, what I have done is this on my account. In cPanel select Default Address. then select Set Default Address, select your domain name in the dropdown list and in the box to the right enter :blackhole: and save it. In addition to this I've set up Spam Assassin as per the instructions posted here This has eliminated about 98% of my Spam email. I use K9 (http://keir.net/k9.html) to filter the rest.

Thomas is correct. If Outlook Express is not configured to leave a copy on the server they would not be available later in Webmail.

Very nice Alan. One word of caution. Please make a backup of any template files you are going to modify before making the modification. Then if something goes terribly wrong you can replace the file with the original and start all over.

Domain propogation can take from 1 to 3 days to completely update all the servers. Sometimes longer. If you used NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING and NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM you did all that should be required. You will just have to be paitent and wait for it to propogate. Welcome to the family, Phil!

I assume you have turned on Spam Assassin and the Spam box. If you turn off the Spam box and create an email filter to Discard any email with a Spam Assassin header equal to Yes will silently delete the Spam. Set your default email address in cPanel to :blackhole: and any email not directed to an account you create for email will be deleted.

I agree and I do vote but it seems anytime anyone gets to Washington they are soon changed to go with the flow. Thus things hardly ever change. We must keep trying. If we get enough new blood in Washington maybe things will change.
