You add the user name that you want to create, the password and set the folder to yourdomain/test. See attached image. And no you cannot create a user with the @domain.com on a shared server. It is used to determine which domain it is logging into.

Open the archive, save the file to your computer's hard drive and rename it with a .TXT extension. If you use Windows open Windows Explorer, go to the folder you save the file in, right click on it select rename. Change the .com to .txt and hit enter. You will get a warning message asking if you are sure you want to change the extension. Answer "Yes".

The trailing slash would make a difference. But I think it had more to do with it being a subdomain.

Thomas, did you get this working? Was the original link you posted a sub-domain? Sub-domains can have their own .htaccess files. You should set up a redirect there as well. In the main .htaccess file add this: Redirect permanent /assistans/ http://www.marveassistans.se'>http://www.marveassistans.se In the sub-domain .htaccess file add this: Redirect permanent / http://www.marveassistans.se I think this will work.
