  1. Not sure Tracey but I'm sure someone will have an idea. Moving for organization.
  2. Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad the staff took care of your problems/questions. I'm going to move this to the reviews forum.

  4. I don't know how to set it up in DW but in an FTP client it would be site: ftp.****** login: your cpanel username pass: you cpanel password remote folder: public_html/subdomain local folder: path to folder on your machine
  5. In cPanel select Manage Subdomains. Then enter "htmlsite", "computers" or what ever you like in the box to the left of your domain name and click the "Add" button. cPanel will create a folder (of same name) in your public_html folder and set up the DNS entries for it so that it can be accessed as htmlsite.****** or computers.****** or what ever you decide to call it.
  6. I've been using EZ Anti Virus for years. Road Runner has the same free offer as TCH-Mike describes.
  7. This page should get you started.
  8. Welcome to the family, tlkratz and welcome home!
  9. Welcome to the family, Nookieware.net!
  10. 125MB and 250MB on free accounts isn't much of a response.
  11. Have a good weekend Thomas. Summer just started here in the states.
  12. I agree, find what you are comfortable with that works for you and use it. I choose to use forwards instead of filters.

  14. Don't have an answer. Moving thread for organization.
  15. If you are filtering you are going to be using an email address you created a mailbox for, correct? Otherwise it's going to your catch all email account which I have set to :blackhole:
  16. Okay, don't know how to verify it or not. But here is the SA address and you could search there to see if you can find any info about it. http://www.spamassassin.org/index.html As for Box Trapper the last time I tried it in my cPanel it was not active. And it was asked about previously and we were told it wasn't installed. So I never tried it again.
  17. I prefer using the forward option rather than the filter option in this case. This way if you start receiving SPAM sent to your forwarded address you just delete it and all the SPAM stops.
  18. As far as I know it filters all email coming in. I could be wrong on this but I hav a couple of forwards and their Spam went down when I turned on Spam Assassin. There is no server side virus filtering at this time. And since it would be a huge resource hog I don't see one anytime soon.

  20. You can take a look at this page for how some of us use Spam Assassin. It's been working very well for me at least. Box Trapper is a feature of cPanel Pro which is not installed on the servers. Spam Box, I don't know I have mine turned off.
  21. Welcome to the family, AmethystHaze Glad you decided to join our growing family.

  24. If you are only doing it once a week, why not just do it manually and copy it to your machine when done. That's what I do. Only takes a second to start it. I'm in cPanel everyday anyway checking stats and what not. It sends an email when complete and I fire up the FTP client and download it. Just seems like a waste of time to run a cron job for a weekly backup. If you aren't downloading them and the server craps out the backup would not be accessible.
  25. I don't know the answer to that question sorry.
