I have never been able to protect a single page without putting it into it's own sub folder and protecting the folder. I'm sure Rob can enlighten us of how to do it differently if it is doable. OK, I went and did a Google search and I guess it is possible to only allow access to certain files to specific users by modifying the .htaccess file. cPanel does not provide a method to protect anything but a folder. If you want to protect an individual page you can either create a separate folder that you can protect and put it there. You can check www.hotscritps.com and possibly find a script that would work for you.

I would go over to www.hotscripts.com and do a search on "voting polls" and go through what they have. I think you may have better luck.

bzzzz, ues this is possible. It's called "parking a domain". What you do is point the DNS servers at your registrar to NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM and NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM and then open a Help Desk ticket and tell them the domain names you want to park on top of your existing domain.

That is what I was told how it works. I don't subscribe to any of the forums. I read all new posts several times a day.

Exactly what Steve just said. Create a dummy index.html page to be served up with no links to anything else on your site. Rename your new index.html file something else (newindex.html) so you can test links and content. When you are ready, delete index.html and rename newindex.html back to index.html.

Right from the add filter page: Create the filter this way set to discard and you do not have to set Spam Assassin to rewrite the headers. Just another way of doing it. Nothing wrong with the way Andy says.

Reseller plans come in very handy for testing things as well. You just purchase a domain name that you do all your testing in. You can buy additional domains for testing other things too. You have full control.

Welcome to the family, Sue! Easiest way I know of is put a dummy index.html page in the public_html folder. Then you can access anything else you put in there that nobody else could see. Or you could create a sub folder in the public_html folder and put all your stuff in there. Then move it to the public_html folder when you are ready. But the first option would be simpler.

You just login to Horde with your account details. Then you will have access to a folder called Spam.
