Mark, I think you may need to open a help desk ticket to get this resolved. Link at top of page.

It stands for action. In IRC you enter something like this: *TCH-Dick goes for a drink *TCH-Dick slaps Harry with a fish

Sorry, tried all three of those sites and clicked on a lot of links to get one. Nope, nada, not one pop-up or pop-under.

Can't you set the date for several years in the future?

Glad it worked for you.

Quick Questions - Hotlinking Images & Mp3's
TCH-Bruce replied to RuNT's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Welcome to the forums RuNT. -
I wish you luck making it work consistently with Internet Explorer. Sorry can't offer any help here. I have had limited success trying to help others do the same thing. What is it you are wanting to do and maybe we can offer an alternative solution.

Bradley, please open a help desk ticket to support (link above) and I am sure they can tell you if it is installed or if they can install it.

I find nothing else in the docs about adding any other variables. Maybe someone else may know better.

Strickly a user preference. I've used both and settled on WordPress.

David, this might be a simpler solution for you. In the section of your pages in your password protected folder add the following: ><base href="http://www.your-tch-domain.com/" /> That should make everything appear correctly.

Can you provide a link and I can show you.
-
You will receive a welcome email with directions to log in to your cPanel and start setting up your site. Welcome to the family.
-
Welcome to the forums David You will have to change all the links in those pages to point to the theme folder. It's been a long time since I've played with FrontPage to give you the correct information.

I believe it can be installed to a USB drive. Since everything is all installed to the same folder. By installed I mean extracted to one folder. There are start and stop batch files to start the services.

I couldn't remember so I downloaded it again. Took all of a minute and 30 seconds. Yes, I believe the 25MB download is the better of the two options. It includes both PHP 4 and 5.

Welcome to the forums, Steven It may be possible that the ports required by Horde and Neomail are being blocked for your users. SquirrelMail works over port 80 which could be why they can access it.
-
Greg, I downloaded the 25MB installer but I am on cable. If you scroll further down the page there is a lite version that may get you started. Get the EXE which contains the 7-zip files which is only 9MB. Not sure how long it would take to download 25MB at 56k

Most of the time it's not the downloading of Apache, MySQL and PHP but the installing and configuring that is the problem. The XAMPP distribution installs everything in one folder and configures it properly. It also puts a control panel shortcut on your desktop so you can turn on/off the web server and services. You can configure for PHP 4 or 5. PHP 5 is the default. Not trying to promote this as I have only started playing with it. But it was a simple install. When you are done with it and no longer want it on your system just delete the folder you installed it into.

You can get a free distribution called XAMPP which has Apache, MySQL and PHP. You can also get a Perl add-on.

Hotlink Protection For Folders?
TCH-Bruce replied to jhollin1138's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Jim, you can set hotlink protection and password protection right through cPanel. For your image folder select HotLink protection and enter the urls you will allow to link to your images. For password protection select Web Protect in cPanel and you will be given a list of folders you can select from. Select one of the folders and you will be directed to a screen to add users and passwords. -
