If you have DNS Client turned on you are correct that is exactly what happens. DNS Client should be turned off and then the HOSTS file each time a request is made. It was part of the instructions from this site where I downloaded my HOSTS file from. http://www.hosts-file.net/downloads.html

Don't think that's possible Dave. By default an email forward sends a copy of all email directed to that email address to the forwarded address. That being said, there is no reason you can't set up another email account for yourself to use specifically for the BlackBerry and forward that to your regular account.

That's an 8-inch floppy. It looks like it sitting on a CD container which are 5-inch. I have a funny story about those old 8-inch floppies. Back in the mid-80s I made a program modification for a customer and put it on an 8-inch floppy. The customer sent someone riding a motorcycle to pick it up. When he was given the disk he proceeded to fold it in half and then in half again and stuffed it in his pocket. Needless to say when he got back to the customer's office the disk was unreadable.

Check out this thread Most likely you need to change the SMTP port to 26 in Outlook as well as turn on authentication using your email address and password.

When I moved our company's site I did as TCH-David desrcibes above and didn't lose our place in the search engines. I actually kept the old site up for 30 days on the old host after moving it to TCH.
