Thank you LATH. Glad they were able to help you find a solution.

Welcome to the forums Robmonster When I did it my email and everything transferred. You don't have to contact your current host to make the DNS change if you have access to your damain nameservers. You can change them yourself. Depends on who you purchased the domain through and how they have set it up. Here you have full control over your domain server names.

Welcome to the forums DeputyMoniker It does display transparent .gif images correctly, just not .png images.

Glad you were able to get you site up and thank you for the detailed instructions of how you did. I am sure some other FrontPage users will benefit from it.

Try the link on the help page.

What part of "function has been disabled for security reasons" isn't clear? phpinfo is disabled because of the additional information it provides to hackers and others who want to be less than honest with accounts on our servers. Whilst suspending phpinfo will not, in itself, stop them it does make it more difficult. If you have specific questions you would like to know the answer to in the way of PHP settings, please open a ticket and we'll happily let you know.

Don't know why this was in the CuteSite Builder/CuteFTP forum but if you are getting timeouts it could be you don't have enough space on your web site to upload that large a file. Otherwise it could be a bad connection/routing/noise or some other communication problem.

If you're network is blocking access to some things might be the root of most of your problems.

Just follow the upgrade instructions. Backup your database, disable all your plugins, do the install, run the upgrade, turn your plugins back on and all should be good to go.

Never had a problem myself and I have 5 installations of Wordpress some version 2.0 and others version 1.5. Don't know what help anyone in the forums can offer. Both links bring up the login pages for me. When you cannot connect you need to run a trace route if the help desk says nothing wrong with the server.

No (not as long as the url is correct), this only effects new images being uploaded with the internal upload feature. If they don't change it, I will just FTP my images where I want them and link them by hand.

Spellbound However it does not currently work in Firefox 1.5.0.1 - should be updated soon.
-
Open a help desk ticket about the spell check. I don't know if they will install it or not but the mods don't have access to the servers or your account. They may refuse to install the spell check as it would put more load on the server then necessary. There are plenty of browser plugins that allow for spell checking. isSpell for Internet Explorer and Spellbound for Firefox are two that I know of since I use both.

Email Client Passwords - Thunderbird
TCH-Bruce replied to queenpictoria's topic in Security Discussions
Restore XP to a previous point. Select Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore Sorry but that's about all I am able to tell you to do. How or why did you delete the entire Documants and Settings folder? -

Email Client Passwords - Thunderbird
TCH-Bruce replied to queenpictoria's topic in Security Discussions
You cannot delete your profile from the Start button. You need to open Windows Explorer and delete the profile folder. If you did not change the location of your profile it will be in the Documents and Settings --> Your desktop login id --> Application Data --> Thunderbird folder. -
Email Client Passwords - Thunderbird

Uninstalling Thunderbird will not remove your profile so the password will still be a problem. You will have to manually delete your profile. -
How To Add An .avi Video To My Site?
TCH-Bruce replied to iaconetti's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
You would have to create links to allow the file to be downloaded to be played. Upload the avi to your webspace using FTP or cPanel On the web page enter a link to download the avi file using my movie style Be aware that avi files are quite large and if popular could use up your bandwidth quite quickly. I don't use nor recommend FrontPage but to publish a site made with FrontPage the extensions must be installed. -
I'm sure you meant MB limit and not KB limit but that is a system PHP ini setting that could only be changed by the help desk. The minimum requirements do not mention any memory limits. If you are sure that it requires the increase of memory then you will have to open a ticket with the help desk and see if they could or would change the value.

But cPanel did when you used that feature.
