If your images directory is in your public_html directory then make your image links "/images/....gif". Note the leading "/" before images.

Most likely a path issue with your images. You have them "images/....gif" Put the full path in there and I bet it works.

SMF is the only forum offered in Fantastico. SMF provides one click upgrading through it's admin control panel. Invision requires a paid license. It is no longer free and the reason it's no longer in cPanel or Fantastico. phpBB is prone to attacks and has been removed from the one click installs. You are free to download and install any forum you choose manually but it is your responsibility to keep it updated to prevent it being hacked.

No clue, I never log out. But a suggestion would be to delete the cookie for the forum and let it create a new one.

Welcome to the forums harlequin To use SSL you should be able to use your domain name but you will receive a warning each time you try to pop your mail. You can set the name sever to the server you are on to eliminate the warning. Using port 995 for incoming and 465 for outgoing. Also you need to enter your full email address for the login and also authenticate with the password you have set for the account.

If you park a domain over your existing domain, yes you can receive email at both domains.

For the web server to write into those folders they either have to have 777 permissions or the user "nobody" needs to own them. Is it a security risk? Yes, but unfortunately no way around it that I know of. My guess is they were set to 777 before the server was restored and now they are not and you just don't remember.

No problem here. I hate when people send Word documents to me. So I never open them. But thanks for the warning.
