Ok, thanks for telling us where you were trying to put it. No, you need to load it somewhere inside the public_html folder so you will be able to extract (install it). The .fantasticodata folder is where Fantastico keeps track of things you have installed using Fantastico. You would never upload anything to that folder.

It is Yahoo's spider to gather links to your site (board). If you would like to stop it from crawling your site see these instructions.

The shared SSL certificates are only available on shared servers and not on reseller accounts. That does not mean that you cannot purchase an SSL certificate for your clients to share but there is not one available without the purchase of one on a reseller server.

This has been tested on several servers but it looks like the backup zip file is not being created. Have you looked in your backups folder? did the file get created? Second, you are trying to zip your entire public_html folder and email it. That is not recommended as the file is going to become very large depending on the content of the public_html folder. Check to see if the zip file was created. Second, try a subfolder of your public_html folder (something smaller) and see if you get the same results. If that also fails to create the zip file, please let us know. We may have to get the help desk involved.

There should be no concern since it only effects enterprise support.

Hard to believe someone would spend that much time finding a hole to attack just a couple of people or organizations.

Hop 1 should be going to your comcast DNS server and it's timing out. Same for hops 4 and 5. You may be able to change your DNS servers at your router or on your machine to use the ones from OpenDNS.org. I use them at work and they are quite fast.

As Bob points out you will need to submit a ticket with the help desk about opening or binding ports.
