What you are wanting to do makes sense. You will have to create threads in the forum manually and link to them from your blog posts is all.

My blog does not require registering before posting a comment. I run Spam Karma and receive no spam. If I were to run a forum I would require registration to engage in discussions. Adding links to a forum post you create in your Wordpress posts for discussion is not unheard of and you can certainly do that.

Wordpress already allows comments (same as discussions). I don't see your reasoning...

If you installed the zip file as the help page describes you should be accessing it like this: http://www.yoursite.com/stats Otherwise you access the stats through cPanel.

Welcome to the forums veknoM I don't see why it should matter or not if the domain name has a - in it. Please explain your problem and someone will try to help.

The images are not needed. The script uses the ones provided with the Awstats programming.

The "g2data" folder when in the /home folder should have 777 permissions as well as all folders that reside inside the "g2data" folder.
