Welcome to the forum, salgoud if you can forward your current e-mail to your ISP e-mail then during the transistion you can get e-mail from old host.

What version are you trying to download? I just downloaded the lite version, both the zip and exe with no problems. They are big 35 meg and 13 meg.

Oh yes, just install, then go back to Fantastico > package you installed and select remove instalation, it will take out the folder and database.

Xampp installs in the root directory of a drive or USB Jump Drive. I used the lite version for windows. in the Xampp folder there batch files to start and stop Apache and MySql I put shortcuts to them in the Quick Launch tray. you put you files in \xampp/htdocs\folder_name\ you point your browser to http://localhost to access Xampp control panel or http://localhost/folder_name/ to see the site you are working on. I have a favorite folder in my browser for Xampp where I keep favorites for each folder I use. Its easy to use an html editor to save updates then switch to the browser and refresh to see the changes.

If you do not like one, its just as easy to uninstall.

For a normal account you can only have one web site with your domain. For a second site with its own domain, you need another account. Pointing a domain name to file or folder or sub-domain is a violation of the AUP. For a second account just open one as a new account, if you have trouble open a help desk ticket.

Hang in there Bill. I hope you get better. Worst case, you can have all the ice cream you want.

I installed the trial version When you get to that message box its telling you it has connected, click on the close button and continue from there. Interesting program, but inefficient. It republishes all pages and images every time you make a change. You would be better to preview to a folder and then use an FTP program to upload your changes. (when trying to publish for a third time the program hung up and quit on me (off to remove it)

Hi Lee, It should not matter what web site program you use on your computer. Did you set up the publish settings the same way you did in CuteSite Bulider or like in an FTP program don't forget the remote folder where your files go is the public_html folder or for WebEasy it's called initial remote folder in the Remote Access" page of the Connection Profile screen. so put public_html in the Inital Remote Acess field

Good job, I hope you made notes
