A quick checklist for connecting to your database. --------------------------- Be sure that in Cpanel > MySql you have 1 - created the database 2 - created a user 3 -added the user to the database (go back to MySql and find the Add user select the user and database, and then Add user to database) Then to connect to the database in a script use: host: localhost database: yourCpanelName_databaseName user: yourCpanelName_databaseUser password: mypassword * Note password is just as the password, do not add the CpanelName to it. --------------------------- See the movie tutorial on how to create a MySQL database.

I don't know why your script stopped working, but in the config file # Backup directory location e.g /backups BACKUPDIR="/home/[site directory]/backups" make sure you put your cpanel name after /home/ # Backup directory location e.g /backups BACKUPDIR="/home/cpanelname/[site directory]/backups" unless that is what you mean by [site directory] Maybe delete the cron job and create it again.

For different web sites you will need additional hosting plans or a reseller account. To have to domains resolve to the shop you can redirect in cpanel.
